Quotation Ulrike Serak, 5 Dan Aikai and chief of the Dojos: " White like strongly the physical, mental and mental development hand in hand go to everyone, which has children or with children deals, and are not from each other separable. Each learning process on physical level brings also a mental and psychological growth process with itself. In the AIKIDO the children can experiment with their motion possibilities, try out and into their repertoire integrate new movement forms. Thus body consciousness is affected positively and strengthened. A good body consciousness affects however not only Fitness, but affected also mental and psychological processes. My earlier experiences as a sport teacher at the school and than AIKIDO teacher today in the own Dojo show that it falls children increasingly heavily to coordinate movements and move harmoniously. In addition attention and concentration problems are far common. It is obvious that a striking lack of movement of small on to a loss the body perception and the Motorik leads. The mandatory two to three sport hours weekly cannot adjust the movement deficit. The perception ability is completely generally improved by the various movement experiences. In addition it comes that the elementary movements of the AIKIDO exceed all social and linguistic barriers and thus a integrative effect have. The social authority extended by the partnership with one another when AIKIDO practicing. The movements of the AIKIDO are supple and dynamic, create a new body consciousness and promote attention and concentration. By the stress of partnership practicing, with which there is no match, aggressions reduced in a kind competing with one another. Instruction for children With child training (6-12 years) first simple AIKIDO techniques are learned as well as bases of the drop school. The stress is here on the development of mobility and co-ordination ability. In addition, the age accordingly AIKIDO techniques already more complicated can geübt werden." By-look simply and try out. A sample training is naturally possible on these days. Naturally here also adults train. We came on holidays to Berlin and she said we should come here and practice. So we did. We messaged them in Instagram and they said we could go any day from 7 to 12am. It is Mysore practice. We came at 7:30, the dropped in class is 15 euros (is cheaper if you go several times), and the SALON was so beautiful. Big, luminous, so nice energy! The teachers (Rafael & Sara this time) were nice and welcoming! Definitely a place I recommend in Berlin for your Ashtanga Yoga.

Instructors: other than the Yin instructors (who were American), the German style Yoga is not 100% my taste. If you like something fast and rigid you might enjoy this. Not really a huge fan of microphoned instructors and found the incessant talking kind of annoying, not really positive ... stuff about pushing yourself etc - they do speak English though. Yin was chill 2. Hygiene: I guess the "German" way to practice is not to clean your mats. Nobody ever cleans a mat! If you are comfortable practicing on mats that are covered with layers of sweat and germs and open to fungus and athletes foot maybe you are a better Yogi than me. I personally am not a huge fan of smelling other people's dried sweat in Adho mukha śvānāsana and have no problem cleaning mats ... anyway I guess: bring your own mat or a towel 3. Cost: This place is not cheap! Definitely a capitalist enterprise in that they don't cap class sizes at all. Get there early for the popular classes. But if you don't mind squeezing in to a class w 50-60 others and paying about 25 euros a class this spot might be for you! Namaste
