We stayed in a studio and had more than what we needed. The studios have a full kitchen to include anything you might need if staying a couple of days. Cleanliness was superb, although during covid they did not offer housekeeping. You could request new towels and amenities via Crosby desk. The thermostat for AC didn't seem to be working in both of the different units we stayed and it was somewhat warm despite keeping thermostat at 67. Loved the valet parking. Option to request your car via your phone was very convenient. Great customer service and check-in front staff was very friendly. They offer discounts to participating stores and restaurants per hotel concierge. Definitely returning!

For my update from two years ago, I'm happy to report that the Lodge now has A/C. Because the A/C…read morehas been installed near the kitchen table, it can be uncomfortably cold while you're eating and uncomfortably warm in the bedroom next door. Fortunately, there is a fan in the bedroom to manage the temperature. As for the other features of this lodging, the TV does not support Airplay, the light switches are inconveniently placed outside of the room. For example, you'll have to go to the entry way to turn off the kitchen table light or the bathroom. Not only is the WiFi sporadic, but it's especially slow in the evenings in that some of my apps require a hotspot. Unfortunately, the dishwasher does not clean that well on the top rack so it's best to pre-rinse dishes. While my unit 9 accommodates 4 people, there are 6 glasses, cups, and plates, but flatware is only enough for 4 people. When I have company coming over for dinner, I have asked the front desk for more flatware which they graciously accommodate. With much aggravation, the microwave continues to be confusing and the hard-to-read panel doesn't make it easier. To use the microwave for 30 seconds, you press Cook Time, set the time by turning the knob and try to see what number you turned it to, press Start/Pause twice! Equally confusing is the Convection Bake feature, but it works. For charging my car, Tesla Superchargers can be found at the nearby Golden Nugget, but parking is $20-$25 for non-hotel guests unless you remember to get a parking validation after spending $50 at one of their eateries. For a more economical option, there is a ChargePoint 5 minutes away with the lowest rates around, but it takes hours to charge a car. When laundering my clothes, I usually remember to take my basket with me, but this time I forgot and was rewarded with someone taking my laundry packets that were in a ziplock bag. Ugh! Moreover, the door to my washer was left opened like someone had gone through my laundry. Beware that anyone can access the laundry room.

And you had to be out BEFORE 10am and you would be charged extra if it takes them longer than 1 hr to clean your room. Crazy! The good news is we finally made it to South Lake Tahoe. So, all is well. The pool is indoors. It looks dated as the whole resort does. But it's still nice. The water is cool, but not cold like it is at the lake. They had a lifeguard on duty while we were here. The outdoor space is really run down. Someone also needs to work on the landscape as it's over run by weeds. The room is dated. We do like it for the size and location. It doesn't have an odd smell to it. It doesn't smell old or stale so that is good. It is a very good size room. The 2 queen option was cheaper then the king do we got it. The downside of the room is they don't have a loveseat or couch to sit and watch tv. They do have a single desk chair. The gym is good, we didn't use it, but it is a good size and many pieces of equipment. They even have a recumbent bike which my husband loves. They have one restaurant on site. A diner of sorts that serves all day long. Including bottomless mimosas for brunch, happy hour tacos, and a special $19.99 or approximately priced prime rib dinners. We've eaten there. Nothing special, but works. For us location really matters. We want to be close to the Heavenly village and South of North.

On top of that, they charge a $25 parking fee, an additional resort fee, and the casino slots felt extremely tight. To make matters worse, the elevator wasn't working, which made getting around the property even more frustrating. When you're already paying resort and parking fees, you expect better service, functioning facilities, and an overall experience that feels worth the money. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here. Overall, very disappointing and not a place I would be in a hurry to return to.

We spread out among three houses, each with their personality and decor. All three felt like real homes that people lived in but ours felt a little more resort-y than the other houses but I think that had to do with the fact that we had a lake front view from both the upstairs and downstairs patio. Pinewild has its own private access to the lake which makes it very nice because you could walk out of your rental property and literally be on the water. This was also very convenient for the fourth of july fireworks that we had an almost perfect view of. There were of course some down sides to our experience incuding: problems with the water in two of the houses, an over abundance of dead animals displayed throughout the house we were staying at, and really bad parking situation (there are very few guest parking spots - so DON'T give yours up without having another replacing it in your absence), and the actual layout of the area when driving. Other than these though, we all had an excellent experience here and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Lake Tahoe.

But the hit of our stay was the restaurant. Their cuisine was as good as any restaurant we've been to. Their chef produced absolutely outstanding menu choices and presentations. The waiter crew were friendly and professional with special consideration to Clay who made our evening meal choices memorable. Overall, with some needed structural enhancements to the hotel, itself, it would live up to its web description. Thank God for the restaurant.

Just book it, especially if you have fur babies!…read more My husband and I live in Reno and wanted to book an anniversary trip to Tahoe that we could take our senior Weimaraners. We also have a friend who is a photographer and we haven't had professional photos taken since our wedding 18 years ago so we thought The Landing would be the perfect place since they host weddings here and it's right next to the beach. There are so many excellent parts to mention but I will start with the staff. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. Our 15 year old had just passed and so our 12 year old was a little lost and loved all of the attention. She was treated just like one of the family. They even allow dogs on the free shuttle which is so perfect so we were able to go into the village and have lunch with her. It's a downhill walk back and so pretty, so we enjoyed the fresh air back. They upgraded our room and the views of the lake were perfect. It was so easy taking Juno out for potty breaks. It was extremely quiet and clean. The heated floors and toilets are a nice touch. We had dinner one night in the restaurant and it is the best meal I've had in Tahoe. The Venison is unbelievably tender and flavorful. My husband loved his homemade pasta with huge prawns. Our server, Kevin, went above and beyond to make the night special. They even let us take a few pictures in the bar area which I think turned out really cool with all of the bottles and colors in the background. Of course we all come for Tahoe! This place is right on a perfect spot. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, some trees and grassy areas also made for perfect pictures. We were there right at the start of Memorial Day weekend so it was extremely quiet and peaceful. I'm sure it will get busy in the height of summer but even then being able to walk across the street from your room makes it so convenient. We want to thank everyone at The Landing for a perfect trip! We can't wait to do it again!

The condo came equipped with a flatscreen TV, DVD player, cable, and WIFI. essentially all we had to bring was groceries and ourselves! After a day of skiing we enjoyed the sunset next to a cozy fire. The Pinewild condos are only a few miles from Stateline and heavenly ski resort. I am from the south shore and stayed with friends who were visiting from out of town and it was the perfect stay-cation for me! The rates were reasonable and because we had 8 people it turned out to be cheaper than a hotel. It was also nice to have a kitchen to cook and not have to eat out every meal. The weather was nice enough to walk along the beach and down the pier. We stayed in a three-bedroom so my son and daughter's family could have their own space and bathrooms while sharing a living room and a kitchen. We were able to cook breakfast while the kids slept in and heat our leftovers from dining out, with the stove, dishwasher and full size refrigerator. We also took advantage of washing the kids swimwear in the washer and dryer in our room so they could rewear for the next day. I stayed in the 3rd bedroom with an adjoining door and had my own sink, microwave and small refrigerator when I wanted to sit on the loveseat and watch a different TV show in my room. There were 8 of us. The pool is so much fun for the kids. There's also a splash pad, and plenty of room with lounge chairs. There's two or three barbecue areas with tables with several barbecues to use. There's two best part is not having to clean it, because staff are there to keep it clean. Activities are provided for guests in the lobby or at the pool. There's a game room with several video games and we took advantage of the fitness rooms. I enjoyed the crafts we made and cookie decorating in the activity room. There is only one restaurant, Fire + Ice, on the property, but there are so many restaurants and stores right outside the gate from the pool and the lobby. The Gondala is right next to the hotel as well. So convenient to in the evening when there may be music and activities going on. We enjoy making s'mores, which the sell for $5, in the evening by the fire pit.
