The staff was thorough in following procedures to ensure I wasn't cheating, and extremely polite & nice to chat with. As a test taker, the environment and provided amenities were also lovely - I was offered noise protecting headphones and an erasable note board plus an extra mouse pad to protect my water bottle from making noises that might distract other testers, which I appreciated. The lockers are secure and easy to use, so I felt good about my items being safe while I was testing. There was a nice, quiet break space with tea and coffee plus water and a few snacks. Today I happened to be taking quite a short exam but my experience was so comfortable that I am actually looking forward to returning in a few weeks for a second, longer exam. Also the entire office smelled vaguely of chocolate chip cookies. Extremely comforting and home-y without being overwhelming. It was also fairly easy to find by following signs on the second floor but they are at the very far end of the hallway from the elevators which made me a little concerned I'd missed it, but this location choice definitely contributes to the very quiet atmosphere they promote for exam takers. Truly the best experience I've had taking an exam of this sort.

One of the things that you have to cover in the leadership class is talking about the union. This should not be something that is talked about until you are in the bachelor's program. And don't even get me started on the bonus points that they offer. These are nothing. These only help you if you are already passing the class. I had a friend have to retake a whole semester due to one point! I refused to have these points applied to my final grade. This is how the school makes the student's grades look better, thus making the school look better. As I have said in the beginning, look elsewhere.

I took lessons with Paul 5 years ago. I was 30 years old. I had never driven and I was as scared as…read moreany new driver could be. Paul helped me from day 1 where we didn't even use the gas pedal, just coasting, to my driver's license exam. I did pass on my first try! He gave tips and tricks that would help for the exam as well as driving in real life. He was firm/assertive when needed but I also felt safe and comfortable as a terrified driver. He made me step outside of my comfort zone. He loaned me his sunglasses when I couldn't see. Because of Paul's help, I am able to work jobs that involve driving. I can now drive giant diesel trucks and haul trailers for work. Yesterday I drove 420 miles in one day. While I will never be a carefree driver, I attribute my driving success to Paul and First Pass Driving. I am eternally grateful for his help.

He reminded me of a few procedures of how to, change lane, move off and pull back in and intersection observation. We practiced this until I got picture-perfect. Once this was done we moved on to Down Town Minneapolis to practice left and right turns which were relatively easy but he want to assured that I did them safely and in the correct manner. We covered controlled and uncontrolled intersections, parking all this in one session. Overall BK driving school is recommended a great instructor and taught me a lot in the 2 hours we had. Passed test on my first test.

He will teach you all the basics and tips for safe driving which you cannot learn elsewhere. As a parent, this really helped relieve some of the stinging of the sticker shock. They started taking teacher consistency, more seriously, and I think it is made a huge difference. No more cycling of teachers as much. It's a warm pool, warm locker room, and Good curriculum where your kid will make progress. There's lots of repeating of levels, but that's true at any swim school. To avoid that, you just need your kid to have tons of pool time outside of lessons. They have a few family open swim times a month but not a lot, you almost need a gym membership with pool access such as at the YMCA in addition to foss lessons if you want to avoid repeating lots of levels. It's still crazy expensive, but you get what you pay for. I have yet to find another swim place that can produce the results that Foss can.

Our little guy was a bit scared the first class (groups of 4-5 kids plus 1 parent per kid), but we kept going and the teacher kept working with him and now he loves swim class and even dances around in the lobby when we get there. The facility is clean, well maintained, etc. and the people are super friendly. I highly recommend Foss for teaching your kids to swim.

The difference is night and day. Culture - The instructors at Lundstrum do a great job of instilling a culture of encouragement rather than competitiveness that filters down to the students. The older kids encourage and help the younger kids and everyone cheers for each other. Expertise - Every instructor is a trained professional in their field. Most of the younger instructors perform all around the Twin Cities and several instructors had careers on Broadway before working at Lundstrum. They challenge their students to really work on precision and technique and it really shows. My daughter's tap skills, for example, advanced more in her first year at Lundstrum than in four years at her previous studio. Scheduling - Group classes are scheduled so that age groups can have classes back-to-back. No driving to the dance studio five nights a week if your kid is taking six classes. This INCREDIBLY nice for busy families. Range of classes - If your kid loves the stage, it's not enough to just learn to dance, they have to do it all--singing, dancing, and acting. The main programs at Lundstrum do a great job of melding the three into a Broadway curriculum with expert instructors in each classroom. Clear costs - Unlike most dance studios, Lundstrum won't suprise you with a bunch of hidden costs. Many studios charge extra for approved rehearsal clothing, recital costumes, etc. In our daughter's last year at a different studio, we spent over $400 on costumes that she used once and then never wore again! All of that is included at Lundstrum.
