Good authentic Mexican street tacos. Hits the spot everytime. I've tried asada and pastor tacos but I like the asada tacos better.

I ordered some tacos and was totally disappointed with the amount of meat they put in them and the amount I paid. Tacos are $3 a piece, so I expected a decent or normal amount of meat per taco, but instead I got a kid's portion. I ate more tortilla than meat, just to put it into perspective. With total honesty, these tacos are worth $1.50 at most. The food taste was very mediocre, not even average. It lacked a lot of flavor. The agua fresca was really good, though. I hate it when palces charge a lot for food, but they're very stingy with the portions.

I tried a mix of things: 3 mulitas (cheese and birria), plus some pastor and asada tacos. Overall,…read morethe food was decent, but a few things held it back from being "really good." The mulitas had solid flavor, especially the birria, but they definitely needed more cilantro and onion to balance everything out. One thing that bothered me was how the tortillas were cut -- it made it hard to actually add salsa and have it stay inside, which kind of took away from the experience. As for the pastor and asada tacos, they were just "okay." Nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. They had a red spicy salsa and a green mild salsa and that was it as far as options that you can add in your own. There were no cabbage, radish, and other important ingredients that make a taco reach another level. I did like the decorations and music they had playing. It goes well with a mexican restaurant. The service was excellent. The guy that helped me explained the menu very well and said that he could tweak a few things to accommodate what I was asking for. He also did well checking in on us. So yeah, it lands in that middle zone -- "It's okay" with some potential to be "good." If they tweak a few things (especially toppings and tortilla setup), this place could easily move up a full star for me.

This casual location with indoor & outdoor seating is in the same shopping plaza as Dollar Tree and Stater Bros. Great salsa rojo as well. Lots of great options on the menu including Birria ramen, street tacos, quesadillas & more. They also have branded beer. Clean restroom & plenty of parking in the huge parking lot. Tesla chargers as well. Friendly service & the lady making the food is seriously the goat! You can't go wrong with this place! Peace.

Fatboys Taco sits in what feels like a former gas stop area in Mojave, but it is its own thing, attached to a bar and far better than anything you would expect from a highway pit stop zone. Inside, there are bold murals on the walls that give the place real personality and make it feel intentional rather than accidental. I ordered two birria queso tacos and they were legit. Crispy, cheesy, rich, and gloriously messy in the way birria tacos are supposed to be. The kind of tacos that make you temporarily forget you still have hours of driving ahead of you. This is officially on my mental list of places worth pulling off the highway for. I will absolutely be back the next time I am coming home from Mammoth, even if I am not that hungry.

First things first, the restaurant location and the inside is nothing to write home about. There are ample tables there. The restroom works, but is nothing remotely close to fancy. That being said, we come to places like this for the food.. and let me tell you, this is the best favorite tacos in all of SoCal. Highlights would be the quesa- Birria tacos and the regular Birria tacos on a Tuesday. Tacos are pretty big with 2 being enough for me. For the smaller street tacos in other places I would need closer to 4 tacos. Service: 5 Food: 5+ Ambiance: low 3's Overall this place gets a 5!

If you like Birria , you will love this place. I was hoping to get few other options in my tacos (Chicken , Pork ...) but they only had chicken wings and for Tacos, only the Birria meat. We went for standard QueseoBirrias and it was very good. A bit over greasy per my wife but I loved it. The consume that we ordered on the side was very good too. Service is standard that you would expect out of a casual place like this. Ambience also is pretty routine. Overall , I loved this place but wife found it very greasy.
