Sit down stairs or upstairs and see the old folks dance over by the church on certain days of the weeks. My churro with cajeta was amazing and I ate it up in a snap. Downside at the moment they are repairing the street next to it and it gets noisy and dusty. Preferably sit up stairs. Cool little hang out.

really disappointed there isn't one decent churros + chocolate place in guanajuato except for…read moredulcinea guanajuato. most of the churros we encountered were mobile vendors that walked around with a giant baking sheet with churros piled up! dulcinea seems to be the only brick and mortar available. that said, it was a bit difficult to find, but google maps did a good job locating the shop but you have to go into a hallway before reaching dulcinea! the churros were pre-made, but they were still very good, really wished the churros were made fresh :( i also got a frozen hot chocolate which was blended fresh. i was expecting it to be overly sweet but it was actually more on the unsweetened side! thank goodness. a few tables available to sit and rest your legs, and just above dulcinea is a bar / restaurant with loud music. a hodgepodge of stuff going on in the restaurant space.
