Tried Tacos Fiesta and had a great experience! The customer service was very nice and helpful and the menu was easy to navigate. We took our order to go but the restaurant was relatively quiet for a weekday. We ordered an Asada burrito and asada nachos. I really liked that they add enchilada sauce to the nachos; it gives it a tasty twist. Upon ordering the food it was ready within 15 minutes and packaged very well. This restaurant has moved from the gas station to a sit-down location. It's cheerful and the service is friendly. I had the carne asada plate and my husband had the chile verde pork. they were both great. He appreciated that you can choose your sides, because he doesn't like refried beans (he got zucchini instead - it was kinda like calabacitas). The meat tasted high-quality in both our dishes. The servings were huge and we were both pretty full afterward. they offer Durango-style gorditas, menudo, enchiladas, mulitas, lots of things. we'll have to come back and try other dishes. my one suggestion would be to offer hotter salsa and more types of salsa -- it was really mild and we ran out fast. read more

Tacos Fiesta has really good food. You can sit down or take out and it's a decently short wait for your order. We got a whole family order and it still came out in less than 30 minutes. Service is really nice and patient. She made sure the order was correct even though I'm sure it was annoying, we just didn't want anything wrong or missing. Inside is really bright and decorative. The door with the plant probably needs to get fixed or moved but it was a nice place for people to go on dates. I saw a lot of couples and happy faces. This review is not about the food. The "rancid oil" smell that hit us upon entering the restaurant was persistent. There were no yummy Mexican food aromas coming from the kitchen, just that of rancid oil. This restaurant was recommended to us as the "best real Mexican food" in town and Yelp reviews are great. We were really looking forward having lunch at Tacos Fiesta. We were greeted promptly by a cheerful hostess, which is the best I can say about this restaurant. We were seated at a sticky table and neither one of us could imagine eating anything in that environment. We left before the waitress returned with our water. I do not recommend dining in at this restaurant. Getting your food to go is a better option. read more

El Jefes who. Tacos Fiesta hands down some of the best food around. Everything is so fresh and delicious. My husband had the El Grinch, wow was that a different flavor. I had the four taco special. The shells are homemade and the chicken was cooked just right. The service is very good. We were greeted immediately and served quick. read more

Was just getting out of DV and stopped here for a quick bite but wow! It takes a lot for me to be impressed to write a review but this place deserves it. I ordered a birria and barbacoa street taco. Both excellent but the El Grinch taco is what will have me coming back here if I'm back in the area! The horchata and the cucumber drink were both not too sweet and tasty. It's Located inside a Gas Station Mini Mart so don't drive off discouraged unable to locate this place like I almost did. Very Tasty shrimp Tacos indeed with large size shrimp. I give them a big thumbs up... I had them add refried beans to the Chile Relleno Burrito It was better than Roberto's in town and very cheesy, but not quite as good as La Fonda's version imo. The Cheese Enchilada combination plate were a tad better than Roberto's, but nothing to write home about...The refried beans weren't that flavorful but still okay kinda average. The Spanish Rice wasn't very moist kinda clumped together, but I was there right at closing time to be fair. Their red salsa the tiny sample size I received was delicious, but they skimped out, only giving me one. The 2 sample size green guacamole salsa they gave me was kind of blandish for my taste. The service was friendly enough and my to go order was ready in about 10 to 15 minutes. My only complaint is the skimpy portion amount of Salsa they gave me for 2 full dinner size combo plates and a Burrito. As a fresh salsa/hot sauce lover and enthusiast I call that some cheap a$$ BS to get that little amount after spending close to $40 bucks. They rationed me the salsa like it's liquid gold. I won't return, La Fonda is better overall and closer to my house...sorry Tacos Fiesta you failed my test by skimping out and being cheap. Otherwise the food portions were about average. read more

Our 1st time here and the food was great. I had a breakfast dish that they made even though it was after 12. Owner Manual came over and Introduced himself. Hubby had fajitas and they were very good . We will definitely be back. read more

Heard great reviews about Fiesta Tacos. Have been wanting to check it out. So, today was the day. I ordered 3 different sopes (carne asada, el pastor and barbuacoa) and mulita de carne asada. Wow, I was shocked at the service (fast, pleasant and efficient), cleanliness and food tasted amazing. I recommend if you want to eat in or take out this is a nice little taco stop.
