I ordered the California Burrito, to go - for lunch the next day, and it was pretty good. I made the 30 minute trip from Dallas, because of my previous experience, to try the Super Nachos...and get another California Burrito. The nachos were made of the same tortillo chips that come with the complimentary chips and salsa, which are quite thin. The grilled chicken was good but accompanied by beans, cheese, and pico, made the tortilla chips soggy. My plate was a mess within seconds of eating. The staff seems friendly, but I noticed that the young lady who waited on me, took my order, brought my food to me, and then never stopped by to check on me, even though I was only one of two customers in the restaurant on Thursday night. She did the same thing on Saturday night, even with my being right next to another table she was working. I had to get her attention to order my burrito to go. I was only in town for a trucking orientation and saw the great reviews on Yelp, so I took a chance on this place. If I'm in town, I'd try them again, but I won't get nachos unless they use thicker tortilla chips.

The kitchen is basically the entire main structure, so I was right there watching the food being made. And the smell coming from that kitchen, it smelled incredible. The staff were super friendly too. I ordered two asada tacos. They looked simple, small tortillas, a good amount of meat, grilled onions and cilantro. That's it. Then I took the first bite and honestly... Wow. The asada was so tender and juicy, but what really got me was the flavor of the meat. It was deep, smoky, grilled taste with little bits of char that gave it even more flavor. The beef was seasoned just right, letting the actual flavor of the meat come through instead of covering it up. Every bite was rich, tender, juicy, and packed with that grilled onion and beef flavor. And the crazy part, It didn't even need salsa or lime. The taco itself was the start of the show. These are, without a doubt, the best tacos I've had so far. Easily in my top taco spots in the world. Honestly, it might be number one.

It used to be so good. What happened? The quesadilla didn't have garlic sauce. That's what made it unique. It's sad to see what was such a great place to eat make so many terrible changes.
