With this particular location so…read morepoorly rated (an overall rating of 1.7 with 17 reviews at the time of this review), I am relieved that I had good customer service for two of my visits (especially since I don't really eat a lot of fast food in general). My first visit was last night. I had made an order on the McDonald's app and chose pick up through the drive thru. The Colorado Rockies did something awesome that allows for fans to get a free double cheeseburger with a purchase of $2 or more. Figured might as well take advantage of the deal and ended up ordering two McChicken sandwiches since it was buy one, get a second one for $1. With the special deal and free double cheeseburger offer, I ended up paying only $4.06 for 3 burgers/ sandwiches. Definitely a pretty good deal. With this visit, the employee at the register was friendly. She did ask for my husband and I to pull forward though and wait for our order, as she said they were not ready (my husband also wanted to take advantage of the free double cheeseburger deal but ordered it right before going through the drive thru). We didn't wait that long, probably around 5-6 minutes. Then our order (in 2 bags) were brought out to us by a friendly employee. My second visit was this morning, as the hotel I was staying in had subpar breakfast. I ended up taking advantage of the $2 breakfast sandwich deal and picked the Sausage, Egg McMuffin and chose to do pick up in store. My breakfast sandwich was ready after I ordered it. Overall, my experience with this location is positive. The wait time for my order during pick up was very quick (as other fellow Yelp members had mentioned repeatedly that the wait time for food is very slow). Also customer service was friendly both times and feel lucky that I did not experience some of the poor customer service other fellow Yelp members have mentioned in their review.

That was me when I found myself rolling through Crawford, Nebraska and saw the sign for C's Drive in. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with my overall experience here. The couple who owns and operates the place are exceptionally friendly and are doing classic grease-pit burgers/fries/milkshakes etc but with a notably personal touch. I spent some time talking to them as the place wasn't busy when I arrived, and I can tell you that they are working hard and paying close attention to the food that they're serving. No cut corners, just a couple of people who understand the value of serving good food as a way to make a restaurant succeed. They are passionate. I learned about the way they source the curds for their cheese curds and how they batter and fry them to perfection. I learned about the quality of their beef for the burger patties and how they tried a few combinations before deciding on what they use, (which is delicious), I learned about broasted chicken which is a way that chicken is prepared that leads to a fantastic outcome, (think fried chicken, but more crispy, never dry and loaded with juices). I feel like I can say with confidence that if you stop here and place an order, that the person preparing it will be taking their time and paying attention in order to serve you something that they can be proud of. Classic menu, exceptional execution. Don't second guess it. I had a double bacon cheeseburger, hand cut curly fries and the cheese curds because they sounded so appealing. Would order it all again. Still thinking about those cheese curds every day. All in all this is place is a great example of how good simple things can be when the people behind them show up and care about what they're doing. If you're in the area do not second guess it. The prices are right, the food is pure comfort, and you will leave kind of shocked at the overall quality and value of the place. 5 stars.
