Shredded beef tacos were semi authentic but very good flavor. Plain cheese quesadilla was not hard to meet expectations. Hard to mess that up. Then I got to the chili verde aka green chili burrito. Please all Mexican food restaurants pay attention --- there is no potato or rice in a chili verde burrito. Also more green chili is required. While the flavor was ok it was not the spicy level expected and I struggled to taste any green chili because the rice and potatoes drown out other flavors. Their salsa bar and selections were good. Heat for any level of taste buds. The restaurant seems clean and I do pay attention to kitchen staff. The dinning area was clean. Might want to pay attention to dust and dirt collection on the ceiling and smoke detectors. Those are a dead give away and probably wouldn't pass a fire or health inspection.

So I used Yelp to find good local places with great reviews. We went twice during our visit because it was so incredible! The first time was for lunch. I tried the al pastor, shrimp, and carnitas tacos with a side of beans and rice. All of the food was delicious! Complimentary chips snd salsa were good. Some of the salsas are hot - so be careful. The second time we went was for dinner. The cashier told me to try the tacos with cheese that are lightly grilled. It reminded me of the Birria tacos that are all the rage in TikTok. This place is 7 hours away from where we live and I still contemplate how I might work in a road trip to get me these dreamy tacos again.

Many times your order will be wrong, and the line moves at a snail pace. Tonight I was particularly frustrated because they informed me that they were cash only (which wasn't an issue), and then when I pulled around to the first window they made me wait for ten minutes. Finally a lady came and rudely informed me that I was holding up the line and that I should know that when they're "on manual, the first window isn't used and payment is at the second window." Despite her thick attitude with me, I explained that it was no issue to go to the second window, but nobody ever told me they were on manual or that I needed to skip the first window. I understand that sometimes things don't run smoothly on their end but they need to keep a face of professionalism to customers. Choose somewhere else to spend your money.
