Excellent service, excellent food and very clean. Love this location! The manager is doing great.

Night crew especially is nothing but young, unprofessional, rude and disrespectful punks. My wife went there recently, and told them BEFORE she began the order, that she was going to be placing a large order.... all through her ordering they continued to ask her, " Is that it ?" or "Are you finished now ?" and even a "Damn !" , when SHE TOLD THEM it was going to be a large order. Then, when my wife pulled up to the window... she could hear them in there laughing and talking crap about her.... INCLUDING the shift "supervisor" To top it off.... they could not even get the order right. Items were missing.... lesser valued items were put in bag instead. It was a nightmare. This location needs to place an adult or two there to supervise the kids that work there at night. This incident was reported to the corporate office, and have been told that this will be taken up with the owner(s) of the store. I hope that something effective is done to straighten this out and ensure that it doesn't continue to happen this way anymore. Needless to say.... we will NEVER go back to this location. We like TJ's food, but will be getting it from another location from now on. read more

The night crew is very rude!! I went here for dinner with my husband. I got steak potato burrito the burrito was just the wrap grilled. I also asked for sourcream and cheese to be put into one container witch you pay extra for cause your getting both. I only got cheese. I called to talk to a Manger this was 8pm at night and the gentleman that answered the phone was mocking me about wanting a Manger! read more

Very unprofessional environment. None of the employees seem to know what they're doing and have been rude on occasion. Orders always come out wrong and take way too long. I have never seen an adult working there. Several years back Taco John's was a fine place to eat but the restaurant has really gone down hill since then. The person taking orders in the drive thru stopped speaking to me completely while I was ordering. I had to ask if he was still there. His answer was to tell me a total. Which turned out to be for only part of my order because he wasn't listening while I ordered. I had to ask him to read the order back to me so I could verify he got it all and he hadn't so I repeated myself. Which included asking for NO tomatoes on everything in the order. Needless to say I got my food, took a bite of the burrito and got a mouthful of tomatoes. read more

I used to really enjoy going there. The food is very expensive for a fast food place, especially since they always mess up my order. I think maybe one full adult works there. The workers in the evening are high school kids with no adult supervision, who are not sober half the time. The floors and tables are always dirty. One time I ordered two soft shell tacos and got a super burrito instead. Just like McDonald's, the drive thru just smushes everything together and throws it in the bag and forgets half the stuff. Usually I have no problem with Taco Johns, I never have high expectations as it's fast food but I had to comment on two pretty disgusting occurrences. Several months ago I ordered chips and cheese, and as I was reaching for another chip I looked into the bag and there was a dead fly. Pretty gross. And then tonight I reached into my bag to take my food out and there was a wad of napkins with somebodies used gum. I've worked in a food establishment and it's not that hard to be sanitary. read more

Nice friendly staff! Fresh food made fast! I have been a fan of the salsa bar forever. Their iced tea is fresh brewed and they always have freshly cut lemons. A great alternative to the six varieties of soda. read more

The staff is really friendly and approachable, while the food was made quickly and I was out a happy customer. The one thing I found that bothered me though was that they seem to have a large amount of grease on their food. I went to a Taco Johns in a nearby town, and it was perfect, yet didn't have as much grease as the Crookston Taco Johns had. Besides the grease, it was pretty good. read more

Why is anything fried at this place always bitter tasting? Is it rancid oil? Other menu items are average. Open later than most stores in Crookston. The Chips are so bitter that it overpowers the dip. Friendly staff. read more
