We had a tall sweet woman as our server who seemed was part of the family that owned the restaurant. You can tell they took pride in the restaurant, they cared, and it showed in the food and service. I was instantly drawn to the chili puerco which was a sort of special. Couldn't recommend enough. I was either ravenous from the hike but either way was one of the best Mexican dishes I've ever had and I eat a lot of authentic Mexican. I couldn't stop ranting and raving about how much I loved the meal and our sever took it with a smile and wished us a good rest of our trip as well as said to come back if we're ever back in town. At a glance, the menu doesn't have many vegetarian options but most things can be made veggie on request if you like cheese, rice, and beans.
