Stopped here for supper after a long day of driving because it looked like a neat place. Sign said that they closed at 9, but shortly after arriving a little before 8 they turned off their sign and started putting chairs on the tables while we were eating. Lots of options with reasonable prices. I ordered The Brad which was supposed to come with chips and queso that were nowhere to be found. Had to ask for my drink and utensils. The food was okay but forgettable in terms of flavor. I always look for places like these when I travel, and I was disappointed tonight with the service and the meal. Maybe it would have been different if it were earlier in the evening, but I guess at the late hour when they were closing earlier than advertised I got what I got. read more

Spent $28 on 2 grilled cheese chicken quesadillas and 2 "texas tooth picks" with sour cream which they asked me 4x if i wanted it an still didnt give me any, the "texas tooth picks" were just onion slices deep fried and the quesadilla was bland and dry seems like no effort to make any food definitely not worth it couldve saved money and ate better at home lol read more

I spent close to $30 on Texas tooth picks and two quesadillas. We did not get the sizes we asked for. We got two smalls when we wanted a full and a half. They were clearly old and soggy. Also we only got onions when it's supposed to have jalapeños. The quesadillas were tiny and they did not give us our sour cream after asking about 4 times if we wanted it. Customer service was great, pretty clean inside, quiet, everything is packed to go regardless. The food was eehhh, the beef had little texture pretty sure it was not 100% ground beef. The beans were very dry and the rice was not fully cooked as I had a few pieces that were hard and not a great flavor overall. Who serves rice that has oil on the bottom??? The salad was fresh for sure, the fried items- well- fresh cooked so they were ok. Will not return however, didn't find this a good memorable experience. read more

I'm from Chicago. Being in one of the best Mexican food city's. This place is awful. First you messed up by having white people work in your establishment. Just goes to show you it's not authentic Mexican. More like Taco Bell on steroids. But Taco Bell taste better. Definitely an American Mexican restaurant. Get rid of the white people. Taco Factory has been my favorite place for so many years so take into consideration that this review is coming from a highly dissatisfied customer. I have been a loyal customer even through the price increases. Saturday 11/5/2022 I decided I wanted nachos, went to Taco Factory and paid over $10 for some nachos that were skimpy with stale chips. I was disappointed, but I wasn't going to hold it against them as I know how it is to maintain a small business. This evening 11/8/2022 I went through the drive thru for two tacos and a favorite triple dip. I get my order and head home. I get home with my tacos, delicious as always. But find 6 chips in a small bag. I tried a chip, again they are even more stale than they were Saturday when I went. This time I'm frustrated. I went back to the store to get more chips, he brings me three more chips in a bag, I reminded him that I ordered a triple dip. With guacamole, queso, and bean dip. Three dips, did he expect me to dip two chips twice and drink the rest of the queso. What am I supposed to do with now a total of 9 chips? (I didn't say this out loud) I was kind and just wanted more chips. I asked if I could buy more chips & he indicated that it was a 4 oz queso that came in the triple dip, so that's all he could do for me was 3 more chips.. like I said I've rode it out with taco factory through the good bad and the ugly counting up change for the bean and cheese burritos when money is tight. Stopping for a Cherry limeade or DP because they have the best.. I understand that the price of everything is going up. But 9 chips for a triple dip? Truly disappointing for a $9 meal of 3 dips, with 9 chips. I immediately went to spend my money at another store to get chips to atleast eat my dinner. read more

Food is consistent, always fresh and tasty. My usual stop when I pass through Woodward.

We were pulling into Woodward around 3:30pm on a Friday and noticed that the line of cars at the drive through was too the street. For a non-meal time we figured it must be pretty good. We returned after a day cavern tour in Alabaster State Park and headed for the Taco Factory. Again, the card were lined up so we went inside to eat. I'm so glad we did - there were TONS of menu items. We had a magnificent drilled soft taco kind of meal. Served with chips and queso. MAY be the most delicious these Texans have had!!! Don't let the run down exterior scare you away. It was fantastic!!! read more

Great place to grab a quick bite and get your taco fix! They have much more on their menu then just tacos to suit anybody along with great daily specials! My kids love it just as must as I do and we frequent Taco Factory regularly every month. I always get their Texas toothpicks with my meal and large DP, they have the good ice! read more

The portions are hilariously small. I ordered two fajita tacos ($2.90 each) and a chicken and rice burrito thinking that would be more than enough food. The tacos were about two bites each and were 90% stale tortilla. The chicken was for sure just Tyson frozen fajita chicken. Burrito literally fit in the palm of my hand. We ate Dairy Queen after because no one was remotely full. Chips and queso were decent enough though. read more

Okay. What to say about this place. It's quick. The food is reasonably priced. They seem to have the process down pretty good. But.... It lacks soul. I think part of it is in the name -- "Taco Factory" -- impersonal, mechanical, routine. Nothing is terribly exciting or cutting edge. Nothing pops out, nothing makes me think, hey, let's go down to Taco Factory and get x and y! It's just safe. Comfortable. The stacks of taco salad shells lined up in the kitchen waiting to be filled shows how routine this place views its own food. Think Taco Bell. What I had here (a burrito, crispy tacos, and soft tacos) was straight-up Taco Bell fare, made by locals. That's definitely a plus, because Taco Bell is safe, predictable, inoffensive, not likely to cause a stir. And it's local, so score one for the little guy. They're a little more pricey than Taco Bell, to be sure, but you pay more to keep it local. Is that enough to propel it to the next level? No. There are definitely better locally-owned Mexican restaurants in town -- you know what they are if you live here or visit often enough. This is simply a good option for lunch-time crowds, for large groups of people, for people who don't like to explore the culinary boundaries of Mexican cuisine and think a taco is simply a tortilla, ground meat, lettuce, and grated cheese. For dinner? I'd go elsewhere for a full-on Mexican dinner. That's not a knock on the Taco Factory. They are doing well with what they're providing -- tacos for the masses. And I'm sure their target audience is quite happy with the fare. Skip Taco Mayo, and hit Taco Factory instead if you want a quick and easy lunch. If you want more classical Mexican fare, again, you know where to go for that. Oh, and crushed ice! Since they don't do half-star ratings, my rating here is 2.5 stars, with another half-star for the crushed ice, for a total of 3 stars. I could have boosted them up another star if they had decent hot sauce, but even for small-town Oklahoma, the hot sauce was pretty mediocre. I didn't take away anything because of that, because they don't call themselves "Hot Sauce Factory".... Would I come back? Oh, sure, it's a safe go-to place for a quick lunch, but I'd sit and wonder if maybe I should have gone to the place up the road instead. read more

I travel to Woodward every other month or so for work and this is a definite stopping place for lunch or dinner when I am there. The Factory Sandwich is my menu item of choice although I try to add a new item with it to see what else I like. The Factory Sandwich is basically a taco burger, but you need to add some of their awesome salsa on top of it. I won't go back. This was the second time I had been here in a 6 month period. I was not impressed the first time but figured I would give them a second chance as I try and support what I would call the little guy. I always try and patronize small biz when I can. My most important concern I would like to address is the poor customer service I had received. The lady who look my order was rude and should stick with drive thru orders only and not in person orders as she just looks like she doesn't want to be there. I tipped $3 on my $9 lunch and when I asked if she would be willing to fill my water bottle with water she starred at me with a dumbfounded look so I kindly said could I get a cup of water? She replied with we charge .27 cents for water. Really? Its the small things in life that keeps customers coming back. When visiting in Oklahoma I ate here more times then I can count. One of my favourite places. Everything made to order fresh, funnel cakes are beyond good. Frito pie is to die for and I always get bean burrowing no red sauce but seriously everything is good and the prices are great cheap! read more

This place is actually really good, for being run by a couple of white girls. The guacamole is delicious and is served with thin chips. It doesn't have much in the way of atmosphere, but it does have a salsa bar. That's ok though, since I usually use the drive-through and get an order of guacamole and chips. read more
