We are born and raised in the tampa Bay Area and have had our fair share of Cuban sandwiches. It may surprise you on how many people mess it up, we are thrilled to say this is not one of them. The Cuban was perfection and classic (with the Genoa salami) the portion was wonderful too and did not leave us wanting for more. The yuca fries came with a garlic Mayo sauce and I could put that on almost anything and it would be delicious too. I will order from here again and if I am somewhere that has this truck. I will not skip over it.

My husband said they even had too much pork....WHAT? Who says that? I have tried both the chicken and beef empanadas. I like the beef, although they are filled with a lot of air. I didn't care for the chicken at all. The first time we got that stuffed potatoes, they were super yummy. The second time they were way bigger and not quite as good. I look forward to their return so I can try something new.

Our drink order was messed up, our food order was messed up, and lots of things were just straight up forgotten. Had to even ask for kids menu, drink menu. They added a 20% large party fee (8 people, 2 children), and with the level of service that we had my wife decided to go and talk to the manager about that, our waiter dropped what she was doing to run across the restaurant to go and be present for that conversation. Food was awful. Very bland, very boring. Steak was burnt. Totino's queso is better, than theirs. Also, every tortilla in this restaurant was almost certainly mission brand tortillas, that you can buy at Walmart. I'm not even kidding. Our margaritas were forgotten about, because our waitress never put the order in, so we canceled one of them, the one we did get wasn't even good. Waitress was consistently giving us all attitude, rolling her eyes, throwing her head back, scoffing, complaining that she had been there since opening, and literally said that she "just doesn't care anymore" My wife and I agreed that ground beef tacos made it home would've been a better decision. Also for just two people, only one alcoholic drink, our bill was $77. Would've been $92 (before tip) with the large party fee. If you're willing to drive to Brandon, go to Tres Amigos. They would never disappoint you like this.
