My partner used to live in Sudbury so when we went for a quick trip we just HAD to stop there…read morebecause he's been raving about their buffalo tempeh tacos for years and I had to find out if he was full of it or not. Turns out they are AMAZING! the whole restaurant is vegetarian/vegan but you wouldn't know it with the flavours and textures they are able to produce. We ate on the patio and they were extra nice to our dog (did I mention they let dogs on the patio??) and brought him a big bowl of water and a stick to chew on so we could enjoy our tacos in peace and not be chronically stared at lol 10/10 would visit again!

Server finally returned 15 min. later to place our order. 15 min. later finally provided glasses for the water. 15 min. later, still waiting for food. People who arrived before us were not given their food. Gave up and left hungry after 45 min. So the service was terrible. Have eaten here a number of times in the past and had better service with great food. So very disappointing.

I ordered Taco Dorado... It's tasty and crispy. The only downside is that the portion size is too small for the price. The service was fast though and there weren't much lunch diners. The place is clean and airy (lots of circulating fans ) despite the hot weather outside. I really wish their portion sizes weren't that small.

Don't let the bright colors deceive you because the food was brown crap, in a metaphorical sense…read more Sudbury is the most ass-backwards place I have ever been to, and I have been to many places all over the world. For me, Sudbury was a cross between the setting of a David Lynch film, the 1950s, a blue-collar hell hole, and a land devoid of color and glee. Having said this, the bright colors and the festive music of La Casa Mexicana attracted me in. The server was very friendly and had a smile. She was also prompt. No problems with the service. The food, however, was bland. But let's face it, i knew Mexican food in the middle of a damn coal mining town would probably not offer an explosion of happiness in my mouth. But the food didn't make me sick, so that is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1. Also, the prices were too high. I guess it was my best choice for food in the area, because the only other crap I could find was fast food (yuck). But if you can find other restaurants, I would highly recommend you try one of them over this place.

Only things I wish different were their spicy chciken is tasteless and texture is like its been steamed/boiled for too long. They don't give you too much guac. It's like pasting a small amount on it. I went with my friend for a good few steak tacos but also some different moles etc. The best was knowing they had an abundance of Jarritos, Mexican soda. The rice was fluffy and fresh as well something that some spots have trouble with. But not here. If you are in downtown you should check it out for sure.

I'm not really sure how this place gets such great reviews because it's really nothing special at all. Our server was really nice and service wasn't an issue here. The menu is extensive and has a lot options, all Greek, obviously. While there's nothing really wrong with the food, it's just not spectacular and nothing stands out. It's slightly overpriced for the quality and quantity. The weirdest thing was getting potatoes as a side. If you choose them, you will literally get 3 huge potatoes just cut in half on your plate. It was really weird and out of place. No dressing or making it look pretty; just hunks of apples of the earth! The Caesar salad is pretty bland with fake bacon bits and processed Parmesan cheese. Nothing special. Lastly, the location is less than desirable. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. It's on a busy stretch of so there's lots of traffic and it's very noisy so it's terrible if you want to talk. If you're still going, have a glass of the Fix Greek beer. It's a lager and it's pretty good.
