Tuesdays are Taco Tuesday's and if you buy 3, you get a free 4th taco. I had 2 ground beef and 2 birria tacos as did my wife. Fresh homemade taco sauces to choose from. My first bite was in the birria taco and it burst with flavor - which says a lot because my taste buds aren't in full swing after having transplant surgery 3 weeks ago!! Wife really enjoyed them too. Go out and get you some! Pay attention to their hours of operation in that they shut down 2 hours each day for siesta! They reopen afterward.

I agree with the other reviews regarding the service. I frequent this establishment, mostly for…read moretakeout, and unfortunately I consistently encounter the same unwelcoming hostess. Her demeanor often makes it feel as though customers are inconveniencing her simply by asking for assistance. On my most recent visit, I went through the drive-thru and realized my drinks were incorrect. When I called back, instead of apologizing or offering to correct the order, she proceeded to tell me what the drinks were supposed to be as though I hadn't tasted them and couldn't tell that they were incorrect. She then asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. I simply told her I would return to get what I originally ordered. When I brought the drinks back inside, she took them to the back, and it took an unusually long time to receive the replacements. Given the interaction up to that point, the delay made me uncomfortable, and I would have preferred for the drinks to simply be remade at the bar where I could see them being prepared. What was most disappointing was that there was never an apology, not for the incorrect order, the inconvenience of having to return, or the interaction itself. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that. As someone who frequents this establishment, consistent courtesy and basic customer service should not be too much to expect.

While the atmosphere was less than lively at 2 PM on a Wednesday, I could see this would be a great evening spot out with your friends. We kicked off with the potato wedges and OMG they were so good and the dipping sauces were so unusual, it was the perfect appetizer as we sat down starving. I had the.Peace Out bowl with grilled chicken and loved all the textures. Could've done without the pickled carrots in the bowl, that was a weird addition. Maybe would've been better as aside. My friend had the Al Pastor tacos and we enjoyed them both. Service was steady and efficient. I look forward to trying it again maybe having a cocktail or beer on my next visit.

The birria is my go-too every where I go, tortilla, cheese, meat ratio was great, I'd even say they were very generous with meat, which I appreciated (and that's rare). The consommé was lacking, which unfortunately can make or break this dish. I perceived it was watered down to go further? Not sure, but the meat barely had the flavor as well, so not sure if this was an isolated batch issue, or just the original recipe. I could absolutely tell, the base flavor would have been good, it just reallllly needed to be more concentrated. Meat was cooked perfectly though. Rice was on point too, as a side... (and a lot of places screw up rice). I love this brand, and frequent their other establishment, so had high hopes. Recommendation for kids menu... the butter noodles... coming from a mom of several, add salt and parsley to it. Gives it a little ZIP! You had potato wedges on menu as well, maybe offer it "plain" for kids, with ketchup. I do realize it's a taco place, but parents look at kid menus before coming. When all else fails for kids, "French fries" usually work. Oh!! We sat on patio, could smell the dumpsters, if you could move them, that would be a great change. Especially in the summer heat.

Tamales aren't a very popular thing where I reside so I am not too familiar. I did do my research before this trip, however, and I know that it is somewhat of a thing in this area, unless I am full of shit. I am glad I had the opportunity to sample them. I was very pleased to see they had some vegetarian options. I ordered the tamales plate: i chose a beans & cheese as well as a spinach & cheese. Not one, but TWO vegetarian options? Get out. I also ordered a side order of beans. You know what traveling does to the digestive system. They were VERY tasty. It was nothing crazy but satisfying. I was a lil disappointed that there was no sauce to speak of, for some reason I got that impression from the photos or description or something. The beans were also enjoyable.
