I love this Taco Bell! It's conveniently located right off the highway and main roads of Foster City, with plenty of parking and a fairly easy drive-thru. The people who work here work hard. I've never seen anyone standing around doing nothing. They are all working. I usually eat inside the restaurant or outside at one of the tables. They have lots of interior seating, including booths and high-top tables, but I prefer outside in the fresh air. It's fun to watch people come and go from the Starbirds next door. As for the food, it's always hot and tasty. I've never had a bad experience here. Today, Oscor (he spelled it for me) was super busy, but also super efficient. He also had a great attitude. This Taco Bell is typically solid but they've hired some employees on the night shift that are closing the mobile orders prematurely. I'll be complaining to corporate unfortunately. I asked them via drive thru if I could order something that was online only because they shut down app orders and they chose to respond to me with an attitude about it. Off to corporate I complain. I asked you nicely and I always get that item, I've been coming here longer than that employee has been working here and never have they prematurely shut off service like this before. This is a clear attempt by the employee to sabotage the bottom line of this business. Were I the franchise owner of this location I would be pretty upset. The volume of orders toward closing is pretty high for this location and this employee is purposely bottlenecking business and being snooty over the intercom. As we'd been regularly visiting the Carl's Jr. across the street, this time I decided we'd hit this Taco Bell as we both love the Mexican Pizza Combo. Compared to the Taco Bell we usually go to on the El Camino near Hillsdale Mall, this one was a massive improvement both in food quality and dining area. The staff is definitely busier with the Drive-Thru than with dining room customers, but this wasn't a problem as our meals were made in very short order. Hot, fresh, and oh-so-delicious! I don't see what the big fuss is about this place. I have no other issues except for the fact that some of the prices here are a bit higher than what my local Taco Bell has. This is probably one of the most underrated Taco Bells I could find in the Bay Area. It's one of the many good eats that Foster City has to offer. They did not get my order wrong when I dropped by which is a good thing. They made my items that I ordered with great care. I saw no ingredients that are missing. The store looks very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were very clean and had nothing missing from them. The only drawback I have is this Taco Bell fails to attract people to dine in. I haven't written a review so long but I have just had it with Taco Bell in general. First the app is very confusing and normally when you order online it has your name and what you ordered. But the app has only what you ordered without your name attached to it. So the Latina lady, who's supposedly the manager asked for my dad's name and the order. She was no helpful as my elderly dad had a hard time with her thick Mexican-Spanish accent and instructions. The Taco Bell app is nothing like McDonald's app where it has your name and underneath it the order. The issue is my dad had to flip back and forth his name and what he ordered but it was not enough for this lady. I get thieves have tried to steal other people's orders at take out restaurants but Taco Bell needs not only an app overhaul but a customer service overhaul. So, taco bell.... My friend wanted to come here to eat ... For her 40th birthday.... Yup. She loves taco Bell!!! There is a parking area that is shared with starbird, mcd is next door and Carl's is across the street. When you walk in, it's pretty empty but lots of drive thru customers. It's cleanish with 2 kiosks to order and they do have a counter with cashiers and a giant menu on top. They have a slushy machine behind the counter and their soda machine is outside with Pepsi products and near the bathroom are the sauces, utensils and napkins!!! There are plenty of seating area. It feels upgraded/remodeled. We order via the kiosk and we ordered 3 crunchy taco, 3 soft fresca tacos, 2 cinnatwist, potato thingy, nachoes and a drink all for $26. I had a $25 giftcard that I wanted to use up! Minus 1 star because when I went to the counter a few times and no one helped me! Kinda frustrating but I guess they were making my food. The drive-through was longer than McDonald's, but McDonald's is way faster. there's a reason I probably lived here for five plus years and never gone here. I tried to use the online app and showed them when I got through the drive through, but they didn't care. I was just trying to get the deals that are advertised for my son (online and in commercials). After waiting through 12 cars, very patiently (and I just dealt with Target and hobby lobby so I'm pretty patient for this) they told me to park and come inside. I did. no one helped me. I was there for at least 9 minutes. We ended up with this order of nacho fries from the drive-thru please see picture for the seven fries and small thing of sauce.... I highly recommend going to the sushi place (AKIZU) on beach park, waiting through the short McDonald's drive through line for better service, or even paying two bucks more and going to that Carl's jr! I got 2 orders of the volcano tacos combo.When I went home I had regular tacos. Called more than 10 times no one answered! Went the next day all the way to foster city in the morning to try to resolve the issue! The lady Rosio, mentioned she couldn't do anything b/c it wasn't on her shift to come at night and resolve the issue.I asked to speak to the manager or person in charge.The young Hispanic guy said there was no manager, "we are all in charge". I wanted the food I was charged for or my refund. He didn't want to give me either. He wanted me to pay again for the food despite me going out of my way to come back a couple times already. Also when I mentioned I had called 10 + times he said the phone hasn't been working for a couple months now. Finally I told him to keep the food just to give me a refund and told me he couldn't do that. And just decide to give me the food. After arguing with me for 20 min And on top of that he was laughing the whole time in a mocking way! Went through the drive thru at 6pm on a Saturday night. Wasn't crowded and the guy taking our order was friendly enough. Got to the window. Paid and then was told to pull to the front and wait because the food wasn't ready. This is the 3rd time this has happened! If you go through the drive through and order a party pack (12 crunchy tacos) they're never ready when you get to the window. Ok. Maybe they can't make a dozen tacos fast enough. But does it really take 15 minutes to put them together!? Then when I got them home, they were the saddest tacos ever!!! There was like nothing but lettuce in the shell. There seems to always be an issue when I go to this Taco Bell. I'd say half the time they forgot a item in the order. I've had to pull over and go inside and let them know they forgot something. The staff also seems to be really unhappy working there. I know it's a minimum wage job I get that, but at least be kind when you make a mistake and not rude. Yes, I'm writing a review about Taco Bell. This is the greatest Taco Bell in the Bay Area (yes, it far supersedes the one in Pacifica, even without a view of the beach). There isn't a single thing this Taco Bell does incorrectly. Every item, regardless of the customization is made correctly, and made so well. Mexican pizzas have the sauce and cheese covering every inch of the tortilla - it's incredible. The place is clean (although we've been doing drive-through right now) and the staff is friendly. We are willing to drive the extra distance to this location in Foster City to get our Taco Bell fix. read more

I eat Taco Bell A LOT--at least once a week; I am at Fire Tier for their rewards program. This location is far and away the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. Every time I come here something is wrong with my order and/or the service is terrible. This specific time, when I ordered online for in-store pickup when I got there the doors themselves were locked so I had to get back in my car to go thru the drive thru to get my order--why have the in store pickup if you're going to lock the doors? Then when I was in the drive thru and told them about my order they couldn't find it even though I received a notification that my order was ready 10 minutes ago. Not only this but they got my burrito wrong and since it's the type of food where you won't know it's wrong until you bite into it and I was already back at home I couldn't just go back and get it fixed.
