I love this Taco Bell! It's conveniently located right off the highway and main roads of Foster City, with plenty of parking and a fairly easy drive-thru. The people who work here work hard. I've never seen anyone standing around doing nothing. They are all working. I usually eat inside the restaurant or outside at one of the tables. They have lots of interior seating, including booths and high-top tables, but I prefer outside in the fresh air. It's fun to watch people come and go from the Starbirds next door. As for the food, it's always hot and tasty. I've never had a bad experience here. Today, Oscor (he spelled it for me) was super busy, but also super efficient. He also had a great attitude. Not sure about those who gave this Taco Bell a bad rap, but I love it here and will continue to visit again and again. read more

It's Taco Bell, so you know what you're going to get, usually. This was by far the worst experience I've had - server was fine but the food quality was unacceptable. A burnt cheese quesadilla @ $5.29 with barely any cheese and a "Black Bean Grilled Cheese Burrito" @ $6.29 with no black beans or rice. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got home - not worth it to make the trip back. Disappointing read more

Best go to healthy delicious meal around. Many times when we don't feel like cooking, in a pinch for time or just feel like non greasy tacos, this is our place. We wished they had Coke instead of Pepsi but oh well. Consistent very good food without having to take indigestion medicine. read more

This Taco Bell is typically solid but they've hired some employees on the night shift that are closing the mobile orders prematurely. I'll be complaining to corporate unfortunately. I asked them via drive thru if I could order something that was online only because they shut down app orders and they chose to respond to me with an attitude about it. Off to corporate I complain. I asked you nicely and I always get that item, I've been coming here longer than that employee has been working here and never have they prematurely shut off service like this before. This is a clear attempt by the employee to sabotage the bottom line of this business. Were I the franchise owner of this location I would be pretty upset. The volume of orders toward closing is pretty high for this location and this employee is purposely bottlenecking business and being snooty over the intercom. If you didn't want to work the night shift why are you there? I'm going to make sure I get what I want during operating hours and I don't appreciate you being rude to me on my home turf. read more

Some of our food was cold once we received it and the service is absolutely horrible. Tell me how do you burn a quesadilla? Jesus Christ if i would have known i was being served shit on a platter i would have just eaten from the toilet bowl at home. Every time we come in the drive thru it's like these guys always have a fucking problem with the customers and it's so goddamn annoying. If you really don't like your job this much then just quit. someone else will gladly fill the position. i'm never coming back to this taco bell again until they hire new people cause these fucks can't seem to have any joy in their life. The ambiance is shit. If you wanna go to another taco bell i suggest the one on el camino since they know customer service. Can't wait til they close this one read more

They are fast but they don't acknowledge you even if you are right in-front of them. Every time I come they never say hello or anything and take a long time just to ask if you are picking up . read more

This Taco Bell in Foster City delivered exactly the kind of comfort food moment I didn't realize I needed. M order was fresh, the tortillas warm, and the tacos assembled with surprising care for a fast-food spot. The staff were friendly and upbeat, creating a much more positive environment than expected for a quick late-night stop. A small but meaningful bright spot in the day. read more

Occasionally I take my dad out to eat at various places. As we'd been regularly visiting the Carl's Jr. across the street, this time I decided we'd hit this Taco Bell as we both love the Mexican Pizza Combo. Compared to the Taco Bell we usually go to on the El Camino near Hillsdale Mall, this one was a massive improvement both in food quality and dining area. The staff is definitely busier with the Drive-Thru than with dining room customers, but this wasn't a problem as our meals were made in very short order. Hot, fresh, and oh-so-delicious! This is what I expect of any restaurant, but this particular branch really delivered. My dad was also very happy. We're definitely coming back here again! read more

I don't see what the big fuss is about this place. I have no other issues except for the fact that some of the prices here are a bit higher than what my local Taco Bell has. This is probably one of the most underrated Taco Bells I could find in the Bay Area. It's one of the many good eats that Foster City has to offer. They did not get my order wrong when I dropped by which is a good thing. They made my items that I ordered with great care. I saw no ingredients that are missing. The store looks very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were very clean and had nothing missing from them. The only drawback I have is this Taco Bell fails to attract people to dine in. It looks so lonely especially with some of the lights off. The staff looked really bored but cannot blame them because the location is in a place with hefty competition. read more

I ordered two items: A STEAK Burrito and a STEAK Crunch Wrap. The Burrito had two strips of beef -skimpy but the real shock was the Crunch Wrap. Not only was there NO STEAK but NO PROTEIN AT ALL-not even Refried Beans. Total bill was OVER $14.00. I tried to call the store to report the issue but no one answered the phone. read more

Take very long to give you your order even when they are slow I was the only person in the place and I heard the coworkers arguing over who had made my order out loud keep in mind I had already been waiting 20 minutes 45 minute later I finally got my food definitely won't be coming back it's called fast food for a reason read more

I haven't written a review so long but I have just had it with Taco Bell in general. First the app is very confusing and normally when you order online it has your name and what you ordered. But the app has only what you ordered without your name attached to it. So the Latina lady, who's supposedly the manager asked for my dad's name and the order. She was no helpful as my elderly dad had a hard time with her thick Mexican-Spanish accent and instructions. The Taco Bell app is nothing like McDonald's app where it has your name and underneath it the order. The issue is my dad had to flip back and forth his name and what he ordered but it was not enough for this lady. I get thieves have tried to steal other people's orders at take out restaurants but Taco Bell needs not only an app overhaul but a customer service overhaul. Not everyone is technologically proficient. The food is okay. Service sucked. And the place inside was a mess. Not coming back until Taco Bell completely overhauls everything. read more

Terrible- always go through the drive thru if you want to get your food in a timely fashion- if you dine in you will wait forever as you will have last priority over the drive thru and pre-orders. No apologies for slow service (waited more than 10 min for my order with no one else in restaurant or in drive thru). I then had to go back to the counter because they forgot to give me any napkins. (Lunch time 2/14) read more

Food is always incredible and the servers are always very kind! The dining area is always very clean!

I went for a late night snack and ordered two of the most basic items to make and they were just way off. First off, they prices went up and the portions and size of the food went way down. There are certain crews who are not taking their jobs seriously here, rude and just doesn't seem like they care. No wonder mcdonald's is always cranking across the street. CONSISTENT read more

I've been here more times than I care to admit or count. It's no Michelin restaurant, but it does take me back to my high school and college days of getting cheap Taco Bell in the middle of night. The taste is exactly the same. It's definitely a guilty pleasure. This restaurant is pretty well run, orders are reasonably fast. If you are a UberEats or DoorDash courier, this place can be slow for picking up food. read more

I've had it with this Taco Bell! Our order is always wrong and staff don't seem to be taking their jobs very seriously.

They flat out refuse to serve the counter unless you specifically yell across the kitchen to get their attention. The food is basically what you expect from Taco Bell, but I am not joking when I say that service is the worst I've ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. read more

So, taco bell.... My friend wanted to come here to eat ... For her 40th birthday.... Yup. She loves taco Bell!!! There is a parking area that is shared with starbird, mcd is next door and Carl's is across the street. When you walk in, it's pretty empty but lots of drive thru customers. It's cleanish with 2 kiosks to order and they do have a counter with cashiers and a giant menu on top. They have a slushy machine behind the counter and their soda machine is outside with Pepsi products and near the bathroom are the sauces, utensils and napkins!!! There are plenty of seating area. It feels upgraded/remodeled. We order via the kiosk and we ordered 3 crunchy taco, 3 soft fresca tacos, 2 cinnatwist, potato thingy, nachoes and a drink all for $26. I had a $25 giftcard that I wanted to use up! Minus 1 star because when I went to the counter a few times and no one helped me! Kinda frustrating but I guess they were making my food. If I get a chance to go back, I will! read more

Taco Bell - $26 worth of tacos and sides! - Fast Food Near Me - Foster City, California

The drive-through was longer than McDonald's, but McDonald's is way faster. there's a reason I probably lived here for five plus years and never gone here. I tried to use the online app and showed them when I got through the drive through, but they didn't care. I was just trying to get the deals that are advertised for my son (online and in commercials). After waiting through 12 cars, very patiently (and I just dealt with Target and hobby lobby so I'm pretty patient for this) they told me to park and come inside. I did. no one helped me. I was there for at least 9 minutes. We ended up with this order of nacho fries from the drive-thru please see picture for the seven fries and small thing of sauce.... I highly recommend going to the sushi place (AKIZU) on beach park, waiting through the short McDonald's drive through line for better service, or even paying two bucks more and going to that Carl's jr! I really don't think I'll ever go to taco Bell again and I know why I haven't been there in the five plus years I've lived here. read more

Went through the drive thru at 6pm on a Saturday night. Wasn't crowded and the guy taking our order was friendly enough. Got to the window. Paid and then was told to pull to the front and wait because the food wasn't ready. This is the 3rd time this has happened! If you go through the drive through and order a party pack (12 crunchy tacos) they're never ready when you get to the window. Ok. Maybe they can't make a dozen tacos fast enough. But does it really take 15 minutes to put them together!? Then when I got them home, they were the saddest tacos ever!!! There was like nothing but lettuce in the shell. A note of meat, all lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese!!! So disappointing! If you're ordering big, don't go through the drive thru! You'll definitely be disappointed that it's not FAST food and then it's poorly made! read more

There seems to always be an issue when I go to this Taco Bell. I'd say half the time they forgot a item in the order. I've had to pull over and go inside and let them know they forgot something. The staff also seems to be really unhappy working there. I know it's a minimum wage job I get that, but at least be kind when you make a mistake and not rude. Today I was in the drive through and I forgot to order a side of Jalapeño sauce. When I got to the cashier I asked if I could add that to my order. She said she can't take orders at the window and I had to pull over and go inside just to get a .40 cent sauce. Really? I've added items to my order at the window before. This is probably one of the poorest managed Taco Bell's I've been to. Sucks it's the only one in Foster City read more

Hours online and printed on their door say they open at 7am but it's 7:30 and they are closed. Waste of a drive.

I got 2 orders of the volcano tacos combo. When I went home I had regular tacos. Called more than 10 times no one answered! Went the next day all the way to foster city in the morning to try to resolve the issue! The lady Rosio, mentioned she couldn't do anything b/c it wasn't on her shift to come at night and resolve the issue.I asked to speak to the manager or person in charge. The young Hispanic guy said there was no manager, "we are all in charge". I wanted the food I was charged for or my refund. He didn't want to give me either. He wanted me to pay again for the food despite me going out of my way to come back a couple times already. Also when I mentioned I had called 10 + times he said the phone hasn't been working for a couple months now. Finally I told him to keep the food just to give me a refund and told me he couldn't do that. And just decide to give me the food. After arguing with me for 20 min And on top of that he was laughing the whole time in a mocking way! I asked for his name since he didn't have a name tag and he said he couldn't because it was illegal.Charles the guy behind him was very nice and tried to resolve the problem but I'm guessing he has no authority there, so he couldn't do much. read more

I originally tried to provide this feedback to TB on their app but after this lengthy tirade, I could not submit the feedback because the app would not take my phone number... A series of failures - frustrating... Even this feedback form is difficult to use. 1) when I select the combo and customize my drink - the link does not work. I need to exit app and re-enter. 2) The complete disregard for customer service in your restaurant. McDonalds does it right. Kiosks are a pain in the rear when they work. When I have a specialized question someone at McDs is there to answer me. At TB the workers look at me smile and quickly turn away. Really? 1st rule of a b2c is customer service! You used to be good at that. Stop changing the experience on the app. Get it to work - leave it alone. Recent changes have made it difficult. Another app example: recent promo is the beef burritos for $2. I click on the front screen add, goes to the menu. I add the special items, the bag says 2.99 ea. so where is the promo price. User left confused. Frustrated. Headed to McDs across the street. Oh wait - let me add. You require a LOT of personal information to send you this invaluable feedback. Again - customer service lacking from the internal group responsible for customer service. Wow! TB how you've fallen... remember when you pioneered free soda refills? Get back there... And now i Can't submit because the app won't take my phone number - keeps erroring out. Whew! read more

Yes, I'm writing a review about Taco Bell. This is the greatest Taco Bell in the Bay Area (yes, it far supersedes the one in Pacifica, even without a view of the beach). There isn't a single thing this Taco Bell does incorrectly. Every item, regardless of the customization is made correctly, and made so well. Mexican pizzas have the sauce and cheese covering every inch of the tortilla - it's incredible. The place is clean (although we've been doing drive-through right now) and the staff is friendly.
