Employees are really nice Food is delicious. They have taco Tuesday. Handmade tortillas The light is a little distracting

Even though it's called the Taco Bar, we came here for the burritos. I would recommend the shrimp burrito. It's so good. We always leave with satisfied tummies. The staff were so kind. They asked if we wanted some water and proceeded to hand us mini water bottles. There were plenty of tables and chairs/bar stools inside. Sports were playing on the screen.

Service is great for dining in. They have a lot of taco options, hence the name. I had the fish tacos (battered and grilled). I preferred the battered over the grilled because the grilled was a little dry. Sorry I didn't take a photo of the tacos. I also had the California burrito which I enjoyed the crispier fries but the guac and sour cream were lacking.

I really love the tacos here- it's always a great variety and very tasty. This time around I had the quesa Birria and an al pastor street taco. Evening was delicious. I am disappointed that when I asked for glass of water, the cashier told me that they couldn't give me one. She said they could sell a bottle of water to me instead. She said it's because they don't offer fountain drinks. Sorry but this is not acceptable - to not provide basic tap water to paying customers?! ( I'm not even asking for cold filtered water) I've been to many a restaurant that finds ways to provide water to it's customers. Are you saying that you can't turn on faucet?!!!

Came here a few times the last few weeks honestly a hidden gem! So happy to get good quality food so early in the morning without having to go to a fast food restaurant! Place is VERY clean food is GREAT really FRIENDLY staff and the owners are really HUMBLE Hernandez, Bianca, Daniel and Erick have treated me well. Till next time

We wanted a surf and turf burrito, since moving here to SM we haven't really found our surf and turf burrito spot. We saw Taco Bar and gave them a try. Located in big shopping area off the freeway, easy access and plenty of parking. Order at counter and find a seat. We got their surf and turf, adobada taco, cabeza taco, Burria taco and a corona to share. Everything was quite tasty! The surf and turf was good, not our style we like though, but good meat and good shrimp with flavors. The burrito was a bit wetter with cheese, guacamole and rice. It needed some pico in there, then it'll perfect. Their head taco was good. A bit pricey for tacos but more of a modern place and not hole in the wall. We would definitely come back to order the same things! Maybe even taco Tuesday.

Amazing, this place was delicious, Hernandez the owner was very attentive and friendly even brought us out a tamale his wife made, what a great experience. Had the pastor tacos, soooo good and meat was crispy. Would highly recommend this place.

    Al pastor

Food is bland at best. I saw the Al pastor from outside. It looked amazing. I thought I'd bring some back home. I got 10 tacos for 40 bucks and some change. Service was alright and quick. Food was prepared by a younger gentleman, must be a new hire or just plain didn't care. The onions were placed terribly, some tacos missing pineapples. Salsa is less than mid, barely any flavor. They also could be more generous with the meat. Guac is unremarkable. Food needed salt at home.

Really good! A nicer taco shop for sure with quality ingredients with that Baja Mexican fare. We really enjoyed the surf and turf burrito and the cabeza taco. I'll be back to try their traditional carne asada and California burritos. I think I might like their burritos more... great carne asada! Decent parking Medium prices ($12-$13 burritos)

1 point for great customer service 1 point for cleanliness / decor The food though ... I was highly disappointed. Food looked better than what it tasted. I was hoping the meat would have a smoky type of flavor to it but it just felt very soft and lacking flavor. I wish the meat had more bite to it even the tortilla . Felt like it could've been on the stovetop longer , it was soft like a flour tortilla. Love how the agua de Jamaica was made in house though.

I'm not sure of their name but I believe they work in the kitchen/back, but they don't act like it. Whenever I come in and this person is working I know almost immediately, either by the way they incessantly hover over the poor workers at the front or if I'm getting gypped in my food portions. I understand how stressful a morning rush can be at a small cafe, but I wouldn't call it an excuse for having my meal come out half assed. I've come in during hectic hours on different occasions and not once has my food come out quite as poor. There was one instance when my avocado toast looked like the avocado had barely coughed on the toast. I can't imagine how hard it is on everyone else to have to work with this person as I've had a pleasant experience every other time. The gamble of going in with the chance this person is working is making it not worth it at this point.

All I was thinking of while walking up to Draft Republic is that this place is massive. Inside, the hostesses verbally instructed me where to go...came across bowling...arcade games...sports on tvs on my way. Behind the curtains, I entered the room in awe. All we asked for was a couple small plates and one beer and then asked if they could throw on the hockey game since there were 6 TV screens going. The bartender said he'll see what he can do and nothing else after that. Food and beer came out so by that time we just propped our phone up to stream the game online, then had to grab our own silverware and napkins from a nearby table.
