One customer who purchased a fashion boot has taken to Yelp to create fake reviews by self and family and friends. I am hopeful that Yelp removes these slanderous and fake reviews from people who have not purchased from us.

Due to the unsatisfaction with the boot she agreed to give a refund, which is normally not their policy. She never sent a return label nor issued credit. She asked us to forgive her because she was away at the time and she would do it as soon as she returned. She never even did a follow up nor what she said she would do. We still have the boots which we are very unsatisfied with, and we are afraid to ship them because she has ghosted us. After she made the offer she never replied to any further emails. We have reached out to her in numerous times with no further response. This is been going on for months. No one will reply from the home office. We sent emails to them and we end up getting a reply back from her. These boots were very expensive and supposed to be custom. I have standard boots that are in a basic size from a local supplier that fit better. They are based out of the country however they have storefront in the US. Beware before you order anything custom. Their slogan is made by riders for riders. They advertise custom boots. Apparently they are fashion apparel, from what they told us. Beware!!!

The owner is a wealth of information - almost a decade ago my Mother went in there for shoe pulling supplies and a rasp. Our WB had pulled his shoe halfway off and the nails on one side were embedded into his hoof. Visby's not only took the time to tell her how to do it but spent in depth time telling her how to address the punctures in the hoof and gave her medicine to apply and showed her how to wrap the hoof with duct tape since 10 yrs ago vets were not open on weekends and this was a Saturday. Back then we didn't know much about hoof first aid because we had always been lucky in that area. Colics, gashes, broken tails we knew but a sideways shoe?? They took the time to educate her and give her the RIGHT tools for the job. For my 28yr old pony who had foundered again, they ordered special shoes that he had SEEN work and brainstormed with our farrier on how to help the little guy be pain free and have almost 8 more years of normal amazing retired life. Recently, my beautiful big WB was diagnosed with white line disease, I have never had a horse with white line or summer sores before and definitely not on the same animal. I am meticulous about their feet and the spots that they itch in the summer. I had no idea how this could happen I only knew that half her hoof had to come off because of the white line and she didn't have any coffin bone support because the boots I got her to help support her hoof rubbed her ankle raw even with sheepskin, cotton, or batting wrapped around her ankle where the boot was. I went to Visby for Clean Trax, with a vague idea what to do, I just knew that both the farrier and the vet said if the WL doesn't get under control your going to loose her - no hoof no horse. Visby took the time to explain the PROPER use - directly Indicated by the manufacture of the medicine, like after her foot soaks in the medicine for an hr. Strip the stall while she is standing in the medicated boot and then take the left over medicine and with a fine sprayer soak her stall with it. WL is a fungus spore that is so prolific you need to spray the stall to kill it and 3 ft above the floor in the stall. If I missed this step, he stressed that her hoof would get reinfected and it would be a never ending battle to keep that hoof. He then gave me stuff to treat it every day - this was three months ago and I am so happy to say she is doing great!! No more WL and lots of healthy hoof growing. Thank you for everything Visby - you've made a difference here.
