We had the following plates: - Chamorro: 5/5 - Robalo: 4/5 - Tacos: 4/5 - Ensalada de Chayote: 4/5 - chocolate ice cream: 5/5 My gf and I also had two cocktails with hibiscus and tequila that were delicious! The service was excellent and so was the ambiance. If you're in the area, I highly recommend!

After living in Mexico for over three…read moreyears, this place served up one of the best tamales, best moles and best tacos I've ever had. The ambiance is simple, yet classy. There are two dining rooms, one private/VIP dining room that can seat about 20 people and the courtyard, which is where we ate. The kitchen was preparing mole with an electric food processor out in the courtyard. Our waitress offered to seat us inside to avoid the noise, but we didn't mind. The seven course meal with a wine and beer pairing came out to about $1550 MXN/person (about $70 US). The wine and beer pairing was well worth it. They're not shy on the pours. We got 4 full glasses of wine and they started stacking up (the next course would come out before I could finish the glass that was supposed to pair with the previous course). That said, the pacing was appropriate. I did not feel rushed. The wine was a combination of 3 Spanish and 1 Mexican. The beer was a local craft lager. The portion sizes were about right. I didn't leave feeling super stuffed nor unsatisfied. They even threw in a few complimentary tacos before the dessert, and a palate cleanser between the appetizer and main course portions of the tasting experience. Overall, this is one of the best meals I've had in Mexico. My buddy even thought the mole here was better than at the famous Pujol in Mexico City. I think I agree.
