Dustin made us a priority right off the bat and hit the ground running right along with us. At every turn, he met us with enthusiasm and positivity. He kept us in the loop, never let us go to bed stressed, went to bat for us countless times, and is just an all around wonderful human being. Dustin is probably one of the friendliest and most relatable people, but is also always ready to throw down for his clients to make things happen. Dustin really knows his stuff and is AMAZING at what he does, he always offered us his knowledge and advice, but also was open to all of our input and treated us as teammates. Ian and I were legitimately sad after we signed our last document because we wouldn't have as much contact with him anymore. We really did have the dream team of the home buying world and I can say with complete confidence that we would not be about to move into our dream home without them. THANK YOU!

She did all the leg work for us when it came time to view a property, had all the connections when it was time to do inspections, and gave us lots of great recommendations for contractor/companies to reach out to for the renovations we plan on doing. i whole heatedly recommend Dustin and Dana if you are looking to buy in the Redding/Chico area.

Kim was the best realtor I've worked with to date, including in the Bay Area. She knows the area…read moreand its quirks/assets in and out and goes the extra mile. She was present for every inspection (the agent for the house I was selling was not:( ), and even took pictures for the insurance company under a deadline due to my hectic work schedule. There was a fair bit of complexity to my purchase as originally it looked like I was going to have to use a bridge loan to buy my dream home due to the timing of buying this house prior to selling mine. Kim worked hand in hand with my selling agent and my loan agent/broker. She was FABULOUS! And she's a good person to boot.

We couldn't have found a better agent than Kim Carlsen to help us find a great home in Grass…read moreValley. Kim understood immediately what we were looking for (the type of neighborhood and vibe) and worked her tail off to make sure we saw (or least knew about) every property that fit, including a few that hadn't even hit the market yet. One of the properties we looked brought up some questions about possible zoning issues. Within a few hours, she had the answers and then connected us to the city departments who handled all these elements. After visiting quite a few properties, we finally found The One. Offer was written up within the day and we were in contract! But to complicate matters, we were getting a VA loan on a historic home and I was located down in San Diego, and then things get even more complex! Our appraisal came in low. We decided to invoke a little-used element of VA loans called Reconsideration of Value. The loan supervisor told me that in 40+ years of doing VA loans she had never seen an appraisal get readjusted with one of these. However, OURS DID. This was due entirely to Kim's superior knowledge of the homes on the market in the area and her ability to quickly quote and document the shortcomings in the appraiser's cited comparables. Being new to the area, we needed contacts for landscapers, contractors, and other things - Kim had them all. She is prepared, always goes the extra mile, and is a fun and friendly person, too. We highly recommend her if you need anything real estate related in Nevada County!

Bottom line, he'll talk a good game to get the listing, but his follow through leaves much to be desired. The only reason I didn't give him one star is because he responded to emails fairly quickly.
