Myself and 5 other Irish guys went to go to Mach 1 last night and we were rejected at the door. Not…read moreone of us was 'too drunk!' And the place wasn't 'too full!' When one of the guys, who speaks fluent german, asked the bouncers at the door why we were not allowed in, he responded; 'Your Irish!' This is one of the most discriminatory things I have ever heard from an employee of any type of establishment! This was the one place my friend and I decided that we wanted to go to while visiting our friends doing an Erasmus in Nuremberg! Now having worked in a nightclub before, I completely understand that the bouncers have the right to accept and reject anybody on the door but this is a disgusting abuse of power by a couple of nobody bouncers! While I had an amazing trip and a fantastic night in another place, Die Bombe, which I highly recommend, we were left extremely disappointed and hugely offended by these seemingly racist bouncers. Lastly, the fact that this is accepted by the management and ownership of Mach 1 makes them no better than the bouncers who initiated the abuse!

Played a gig there last night. Place was packed, sold a ton of merch. Great spot. Sound was good,…read moredecent size stage. Plenty of beers and drinks to go around. They fed us a home cooked meal down in the green room and we were well taken care of. Plenty of food and hotels near by. Lots of locals came out to see us on a Wednesday which was very cool. Great spot to play a gig.

After, we asked the bouncer and he said "I do not know English"... he knew English as he was able to answer all of our questions. We told him we would leave a review, he said "go ahead". It's clear this club is prejudice to non-German individuals. I hoped we left this attitude behind back in 1938.

I was going to this place for 2 years when they finally decided I was too American to be allowed in any more. I have always been quite and enjoying the Nintendo with the drinks.
