The second time in I was overcharged. By quite a bit. I haven't been able to go in because I work during their hours of operation and it's not nearby. Dear Bead Fairy Team, I'm reaching out regarding a recent purchase I made at your store on May 22, 2025, where I was accidentally overcharged for one of the items. Specifically, I was charged $30.05 for a single tube of size 6/8/11/15 seed beads, which was clearly marked in-store as $3.75. I've attached the following items for your review: * A photo of the receipt showing the $30.05 charge * A photo of the bead tube with the $3.75 price tag * A photo of all items purchased, confirming no other item aligns with the $30.05 charge It seems this was a simple cashier error. I noticed the discrepancy shortly after leaving the store and tried to return immediately, but the shop had already closed. I kindly request a partial refund of $26.30, the difference between the correct price and the amount charged. I hope this can be resolved quickly, and I truly appreciate your time and understanding. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information.

While I was a little ticked to find out that there wasn't a class in the SLC area in all of March, I hoofed it out to Provo to their Red Cross class. The facility isn't much to write home about, but they have all the equipment to get top-flight training. Their training is "blended", meaning you spend most of the time learning online, then you come to class to put into practice what you've learned. The training was conducted by Ted Bisping, who did a good job not just with the material, but "real-life" scenarios he had personally experience. We spent half the class in expanding on the basics, the second practicing scenarios. Of course, there was work on the CPR dummies (clean, shiny, and brand-spanking new!) You really have to put this part in action because there's a lot of physicality when giving around 100 compressions a minute! For the First Aid, we worked with partners on treating severe wounds. Bloody good training, so-to-speak. They also had a baby / child CPR section that used baby dummies. I was also a little ticked the thing was scheduled for an hour, and it ran 90+. After getting out of the stuffy room and home and getting my certificate, I was a little more pleased with the whole experience.
