Tony didn't return my text enquiries on Monday about whether or not he was coming. It's now 11AM so he's obviously he's not coming today. Another 3 hours of my life wasted waiting around. Really disappointed to wait so long and not get help. Definitely not reliable about showing up.

We first noticed the…read moreproblem about two years ago when the circuit in the kitchen began to experience overload and now and then tripped the breaker switch in the main panel. It was annoying but not serous enough to call an electrician. Our house is thirty-five years old and I just thought that over time too many devices had been added to the circuit. No big deal, right? Wrong! Starting in late January of 2024, the outages began to to affect other circuits. First, the circuit that the washer and dryer are on, then the circuit that connected the master-bedroom, then the living room, then the family room, and so on. Now the problem has my full attention. My wife is not even close to happy and my life has taken a definite turn for the worse. I was referred to Colin Hurley of Hurley Electric by another contractor, Eddie Bello, who is Colin's cousin and does tile work. I wish I had known Colin two years earlier and spared myself a ton of worry. Colin is very personable, knowledgeable and super-likeable. Within an hour he had diagnosed the problem and began the repair. It was a failure in the main-circuit box, so it took awhile to repair. Colin worked with his son, Austin, who was also helpful, courageous, and knowledgeable. Colin and Austin were able to fix a very complicated electrical problem by the end of the day. I was so grateful. And, of course, Colin called the following day to make sure all was okay. If you need an electrician, look no further and call Hurley Electric. (805) 310-9755.
