I was never looking to make extra money, I was only concerned about the medical bills that Geico, the man's insurance that hit me, refused to pay any of them. It was instantly diagnosed that this accident had caused me to have a compression on my C4 Dash C5 vertebrae and a bulging desk. Potential he of course it can cause issues down the road but I am very proactive about taking care of what needs to be done to prevent that. I honestly am not one for lawyers at all, but Julia Kerr was above and beyond the expectations I ever had of any personal injury lawyer. Like I mentioned above I wasn't looking to get a $2 million settlement or really even anything, I just needed my bills paid from imaging and treatment of my compressed vertebrae/spinal cord. Julia Kerr has been more than helpful, does not waste your time or money, and is legitimately the most personable attorney you will ever meet. She completely understands the circumstances, what you need, and helps you create a quick (for that process and the BS it can entail w insurance companies) outcome that will at the VERY least get your bills paid if not more. I was thankful that she was able to get my lost time compensated (over 2 weeks of work, I was paid hourly at the time) which is very difficult to do from what I understand. But also Geico was refusing to pay all of it so we had to use my uninsured policy for other drivers to even pay the rest of my medical bills. She was efficient, responsive, and just amazingly helpful in every way possible. I work in healthcare so I know sometimes how certain personal injury attorneys can be (more money, who cares about time?!) and I have to say that she completely does not fit any sort of stereotype that you may have. With that being said I would recommend going to her in a heartbeat if you are in the similar situation that I was or if you are really really hurt and need assistance on how to handle the situation. She will do everything in her power, even if you did have to go to court, to make sure that you are getting a satisfied outcome. Thankfully we did not have to go to court, but let me put this in here under no circumstances do I EVER recommend Geico as a car insurance. EVER. Especially if this is how they handled the people they are not insured in an accident, I couldn't imagine what more of a nightmare it would be if you were actually insured by them. I thank god have State Farm and I will tell you, 100% you get what you pay for with car insurance. Zack Zidzik, who interviewed me, did not appear to have read any information I had already provided about the case by questions he asked, seemed focused on the minutia and could not see the big picture I had outlined in detail for them in return email. Zack twice asked me to "tell him everything I knew in 30 seconds" about different key elements of a case that had been unfairly decided against me by HUD with many glaring errors on their part but had now become too big for me to handle alone. Or detail for him in 30 seconds. I wondered if this was a test of my communication skills, cognitive functioning or if he was trying to impress the female on staff taking notes by asking questions about statements made on HUD documents filed by someone else in 1981. Again, failing to see the big picture with no regard given to information provided showing more recent and relevant developments regarding that aspect of the case. I later called and asked to provide feedback on the interview but no interest was shown in it or a case they already turned down without any material case evidence allowed sent to or reviewed by them to evaluate the merits of my case.

I was also responsible for holding annual meetings per the existing covenants. When I scheduled a meeting and invited all the owners to a meeting. Sandberg Pheonix and the other trustee decided to spend $3000 of subdivision money to file a a restraining order against me holding the meeting. The meeting was both required to do my role as president and in the best interest of the community as it allowed everyone to share thier perspectives that were shared privately with me. I'm still not sure how the subdivision money to file the restraining order was authorized, but clearly it was motivated by this firm protecting and seeking to increase its revenue.
