It's a roadside travel stop. Pretty much exactly what you'd expect. It was busy on an Friday, yet seemed understaffed. The bathrooms weren't very clean, but they never really seem to be at these kinds of stops. The layout of the store made it really crowded for patrons with little room to walk without bumping into someone. Somehow, the line for Subway (I think) was right next to the bathroom entrances, with a mid aisle ice chest display with beer in it. Quite awkward. There is an attached restaurant, but we didn't stay long enough to check it out, more of a gas and go stop. read more

Go in girl that took my order was real nice. Anyways I've not ate all day. Could not wait to dive into the Popeyes chicken sandwich. Folks, I got in my truck. I got the package of the sandwich. Noticed it wasn't even warm. Opened it. Wasn't even big. Looked more like a tender. Anyways I take a bite. Very very disappointed & disgusted!! Why?????? Why Popeyes staff?? Just why would you serve food that was not even warm? How would you like to be hungry? Not ate all day & crave something. Get to the place order Go to eat it and it not even warm, Tough, just not good!! Us truckers love our job & do the best we can. Filling up the stores with much needed stuff. If we did not do our jobs, the stores would be Empty & no one would like it. Have respect for all!! No matter what time of day it is SERVE THE PAYING CUSTOMERS FRESH HOT GOOD FOOD. By the looks (shoddy, rundown) of the outside, I was skeptical about stopping here for a break on a road trip. Much to my surprise, the women's bathroom was clean and in top shape. The husband said the same about the men's bathroom. We bought some snacks for the road and the young male clerk was very friendly. Kudos to you TravelCenters of America! read more

Such a wonderful place to stop and relax in Wilcox from your weary travels. Theres such a variety of gifts, beverages, food and snack items. Also a great place for the big truck drivers to get supplies and repairs. We travel I-10 often and we will always make sure to stop here for R&R. The employees are the best here! A young man hear my husband and I talking about a burn on his hand. Asked if we needed a bandage, we told him no thank you it's a burn and will ice at the hotel, then he brought us burn relief. I went up front to talk to the supervisor, she was on break so I was talking to the other ladies at the front and they were so kind!!!! Helped us out with an issue we were having and offered help by giving us a name of someone. So kind and friendly! Thank you all for make a very stressful night a little bit easier!!!! read more

Disgusting Mens bathroom. Why is it always like that at this TA area. There are so many cleaner or I should say WAY CLEANER TA's then this place. They need to find better janitor's and give them a raise . How could you handle food literally next to those disgusting bathroom. This TA is the perfect stop for the RVer heading east or west on highway 10. With the cheapest gas for 59 miles (according to gas buddy). There are RV fueling stations with both Gas and Diesel. They also have propane as well as air and water and dumping stations. FREE dumping stations!! There is a Truck and RV wash across the street (behind the super 8) that will hand wash your RV in about 10 minutes for $1.00 per foot! read more

We stayed one night in the early part of January 2018 in the parking lot in our Roadtrek RV on our way to Quartzsite, AZ and it was great. No issues, no problems. Felt very secure. The entire facility was in good repair and everything appeared orderly. Chow in the morning was excellent and as always I ATE TO MUCH!!! Anyway thank you and TA for allowing RV parking in your facilities. Best in all of your future endeavors. read more

Typical modern truck stop. Store and restrooms are clean and large. Limited parking close tot he building, so be prepared for a walk. The Country Pride restaurant is above average in quality and service, but the in-store Popeye's is below average in both. read more

I'll have this to say for the TA itself: the bathrooms were clean. I went to the Country Pride restaurant and will never go there again. Extremely new waitress with apparently no backup, very long wait for food, when it did come it was extremely poor quality. I figured an Ultimate Grilled Cheese sandwich was safe. They at least put the tomatoes on the side but the bread was thin, not the Texas Toast they advertised, the bacon was both undercooked and overcooked at the same time, tasting ever so slightly rancid, and their version of seasoned fries just means you get black pepper (not fresh) and salt on them. Spouse had a breakfast deal - eggs over easy turned into eggs that were solid, half and half iced tea was still way too sweet, and everything else was bad too. Southern cooking at it's worst. Spouse had a metallic taste in her mouth from everything, and we both had sour stomachs all that day. The prices were high - my crappy cheese sandwich cost about eight dollars not including tax. The cleanliness at the Country Pride restaurant was execrable. Sticky menus, big puddle of sticky on the floor under my foot too. Hopefully it was pancake syrup. Parents with screaming kids. This was in the middle of the day on a Thursday. I'm not going back. If you are going through the area, pick up a sandwich at the deli, go to Popeyes, anything but eating there. read more

Wonderful place! I love going to eat Popeye's here. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Also, the restrooms are always clean when I go in which is a HUGE plus! The inside is very clean and well maintained as well as the tables outside. I love that there is a place to sit outside and eat with my dog when I bring him along :). I will be back! read more

I cannot thank enough for the woman who worked in the evening on May 16, 2019. She did a great deed for me. I shopped here and paid her by cash. However, I carelessly left my whole wallet in the counter and left. I did not found out until next morning at my hotel stay. Good thing I remembered my last stop and went back to this shop. I asked the woman on the casher counter and explained to her my forgetful situation. She asked me a few important questions and showed me my wallet. I was so grateful. As a traveller, my preferred method is biketouring upon my Doublevision, but often use other means: trains/trolleys/planes/(motor)vehicles/etc. It was the occasion of a quick family reunion in Los AngelesCA-USA which necessitated the need for a motor vehicle West on I-10 from home inn El PasoTX-USA. Whilst prepping my truck for the 700mile/960km trip, I had knocked the schrader valve needle ajar, causing a whisper of an air leak. My solution was to cap it; no more sound, no more leak. However, my most favorite son was driving when the idiot light came on, alerting him to pull off at the next exit with services. This superior site not only had free air (once we figured out how to operate the nozzle), but he also made the small adjustment to the needle--no more leakage, however minor! The next most important feature was that of nutrition, and server Rayleen in the Subway sandwiches area. Please understand that significance of this super Subway; both my favorite son and his fiancee are vegetarian and Subway is my number one choice of foodstops when biketouring. In fact, Subway is the third photo in my 4th book when I biketoured between El Paso & Houston in 2011! This reflects upon another aspect of this terrific Travel Center: it is at a critical location for when I eventually biketour this route--the shoulder of I-10 is quite useful (and often the only available route) rural road for bicycles transiting the Southern tier of the USA, although some sections (urban) are unacceptable. The most notable unacceptable section is between Texas exit 72 and New Mexico exit 139. However, this gap is extremely well made up for by the "International Ft. Hancock-Las Cruces I-10 Bicycle Bypass" ; which is even more enhanced with your valid passport (greatly facilitates re-entry into the USA) as you pedal through this "Hidden Gem of the World, Crossroads of North America, anchored by El Paso, Cd. Juarez & Las Cruces!" (additional details available at my website: www.juanitohayburg.com) Whatever you do, you can count on excellent vehicle service and needed nutrition at this fantastic Travel Center! This is the worst place ever!! I had to give a rating, but they do not deserve any stars. Our party( four people) was in there after being at Apple Annie's picking peaches and needed a good meal. Sadly, after being ignored for twenty minutes and not even our getting drink order to us, we ordered our food. Forty five minutes later after being told our order would be right, (everyone else who had come in after us had been served and left) we decided to leave without our food. (They even had the nerve to ask if we wanted our food To-Go when it came out--yeh right) We went down the road to TTT Truck Stop and had a Great meal and was in and out in forty five minutes!
