I was told the diagnostic work and actual repair would take eight hours or more and cost over $1,000. I decided not to move forward and took the vehicle to another repair shop. They diagnosed the issue and completed the repair in under two hours for approximately $250. I understand dealerships have higher overhead and may charge more, but the difference in both the estimated labor time and cost was difficult to justify. I expected a Honda dealership with trained technicians to provide efficient, professional, and reasonably priced service. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that I was being quoted far more than necessary. I will not be returning to Holmes Honda for future repairs. Very disappointing, especially from a dealership that should have earned my trust as a Honda owner.
