Went in T3 to find a quality firearm and left with exactly what I wanted and needed, a POF with amazing optics. The gentlemen in the store are well versed in firearms and honest men. There are not many gun stores I'd recommend as they're not favorable to the customer but here the atmosphere was different. I ordered online and transferred firearm to here as I had never been inside this store. Glad I did as they did not have what I wanted in stock. But I called to discuss the transfer details and could tell they were professional. Didn't try to persuade my purchase or brush me off because I wasn't purchasing direct. Then when I went in to p/u my order the 3 staff members were all great. I dealt with all 3 at some point and they were all highly knowledgeable and wanted to show us the newest items and engaged in talking to us about our interests. I, a female went in today to purchase a Glock 34 Gen 5 for myself. There was a heavy set employee sitting on the barstool who blatantly ignored me as I stood at the counter exclaiming excuse me repeatedly although he was not waiting on anyone else or doing anything in particular as far as I could tell. When I finally got his attention even though I was both patient and polite he acted agitated at my mere presence and was very short with me. I asked to see the gun at which time he let out a big sign as if this was somehow putting him out. After he finally handed me the firearm I was checking the weight differential out due to the Glocks I usually shoot either being the Glock 17,19 or 22. At this point at less than 30 seconds from handing me the firearm; even with me being a complete stranger and with the covid virus running rampant he forgoes all social distancing rules, invades my personal space and places his hands on top of mine forcibly wrenching and readjusting my hands as he "Mansplained" how my hand/ Grip placement was wrong all the while acting like I was wasting his time! At this point I politely explained to him I was just getting a feel of the weight and balance, that's all. I then stated I had shot guns all my life, served in the Military for four years, been In law enforcement for the past 11 years and have been shooting competitively for the last six. My wife and I went into T3 yesterday, June 27, to look at pistols. We have never shot or owned a pistol. I have applied for my concealed carry and wanted to purchase a pistol to carry when I want or leave at home with the wife if I am out of town. I am left handed and my wife is right handed. We looked at revolvers and semiautomatics. After them working with us about a hour, we purchased a FNS 9mm Compact, that will work great for us starting out.
