    I am owner of Avenue Of Homes Charles City. We have closed our Charles City Sales Lot. We have had…read moreonly one choice for internet service and Unggoy internet service was erratic and slow. Thier follow up and service is even worse. It took about a year for them to install a device to try and make it better and it still was terrible internet service. In the past Avenue Of Homes had pre-paid our annual invoice $779 for service. I notified them in November 1 via phone and email that we were ceasing business and no longer needed service. Since then, I am receiving delinquent email notices with no invoice attached. So again, I call and she tells me I owe something like $800 for entire upcoming year of service. I would have paid a month or so but they were extorting me for entire year. I hope they take me to small claims as I have copy of every communication I sent them. I never write Yelp review but Unggoy SUCKS.

    When I first purchased, they told us they have 24/7 tech support. When I did have issues on several…read moreoccasions, I had to leave a voicemail and never received a call back from tech support. Later, they changed the wording to say we have to leave a voicemail for after-hours tech support, and then again - never a call back. The internet is out SO MUCH, often after-hours or early morning. Just last week the internet went out during FOUR client calls. In the last two weeks the internet has been out SEVEN separate days, and is often so slow when it is actually working that it's rendered pretty much useless. The ladies on customer support were nice, but as I call more and more because of service being down, they are rude. Listen, I am paying for a service I am not getting, it's costing me time and LOTS of money. If I am nice to you, you should reciprocate, especially since I'm the one paying YOU to give me a service! They've turned off their reviews on their Facebook page, too because of how dissatisfied people are with them. Guess it's time to go back to Mediacom:( **UPDATE 11/28/17** It's been 48 hours without internet, for everyone. They're deleting concerned comments and questions from their social media pages and ignoring their customers. This does not sound like a stable, reliable, trustworthy company. RUN.
