After my weird experience at the T-Mobile location in Costa Mesa (see my other Yelp review), I wanted to get a sweet treat so I decided to drive north on Harbor to Cream Pan. Remembering there's another T-Mobile store nearby, I decided to drop by to see if the employees are nicer at this location in Santa Ana. Immediately as I step in, Luis asked me if I was here for the hat. Two of the four phrases were displayed. He was so nice and did not oddly gate-keep the hats like the gentleman at the Costa Mesa store. As I was leaving, I noticed on Luis' name tag that he was the retail store manager which didn't surprise me. Hello guys, the T-Mobile store on harbor and McFadden doesn't provide expected customer service for the customer I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile about a month ago but I faced many issues as they add hidden fees in my bill so I had to talk with the manager but the manager was not available in the store sometimes he promised that I will reduce and remove your hidden fees but still it was in my account and T-Mobile charged me $37 extra for this month. I visited the store three times last week , so another employee by the name of Junior told me that manager already put a note on your account so no worries I will talk to the manager and I will send an email to him so we will call you back on last Friday but nobody called me and T-Mobile charges me $37 extra if the situation goes like this I will think of switching from t mobile back to the spectrum because they offered great prices - home Internet $30 per month and unlimited data $35 per line. I request every one not to switch to T-Mobile else they will face many hidden fees every month and you will have many conflicts with this store employees. read more

They helped me with a shady situation that happened to me when I gave AT&T some personal information that ended with my T-Mobile account being cancelled. Do not trust that company anymore and sticking to T-Mobile. I appreciate not only the professionalism of the employees but the fact that they showed compassion and stuck up for me throughout the situation. All too many times have I tried this store and leave completely disappointed. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt as I too, also work with the public in healthcare. Maybe they have had a bad day or might have came across a frustrating customer, but no -- all of their representatives are rude. They have a condescending tone, don't give much information but to call the customer 611 service line and assist you THE LEAST possible. Basically, try to push you out fast if you aren't buying new products phones or adding new lines, etc. It's like talking to a brick wall. Don't come to this store, everyone who works here seems miserable and won't help you. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I haven't been able to successfully transfer my line to Verizon because T-Mobile won't give me my activation code. Originally, I thought they were helpful but they weren't helpful at all. The young lady that was assisting me didn't know what to tell me only that my phone won't turn on so she couldn't help me. But I had to make suggestions as to how to solve this issue. She never came up with any solutions. This review was about a service I received back in October of this year when suddenly my phone didn't work and I needed it for my social media posting gig which was happening in a few days. I was freaking out. I ended up going to a location where they fix phones but they couldn't get it done (at least try to make my phone turn on without any guarantees) for a few days. I couldn't wait that long. I asked them to put in on the schedule. Left to talk to another T-mobile branch I knew. I decided to purchase a new phone and cancel the order to fix my phone with another company. The other T-Mobile representatives were helpful and knew what they were talking about and I really liked them. For this branch though, yeah, I don't recommend this one. Go to the one in Garden Grove on Trask and Euclid. That's the one that I ended up going to. They were awesome. read more

I am sure the folks at this T-Mobile are smart and professional, however, the company as a whole is killing their brand by the foolish things their customer service does on the phone. They charged me to return a phone in warranty, $20.00. And they won't let me take it back to the store. So, I had an LG G3 that was over heating in my pocket. I had to have it over heating for 1.5 weeks, while I waited for the phone to arrive. Had it caused physical harm or other damage, it would have been a very big issue. Instead they charged me to send the phone back and forth. When I changed to T-Mobile, I was happy with their customer care. 1 year in, not so happy. And after a few calls to their tech support, they never figured out what was happening. read more

My iPhone 10XR was stolen on 11/19/20 My iPhone 10XR was stolen on 11/19/20. I wasn't able anyone to disable my phone that was stolen on this date. I went into a T-Mobile store the next morning: 11/20/20 to buy another phone and deactivate my stolen phone. I was told by the person helping me that I needed to call the service department at T-Mobile. I called at approximately 10:45am as soon as I was done buying the phone. The service rep I talked to told me that my stolen phone was wiped and that no one would have access to my stolen phone. A couple days later, on 11/22/20,I received an email from T-Mobile to my personal email stating that my pin was removed from my phone and that I have access to my phone by fingerprint. I thought it was odd so I called T-Mobile and let them know what the email I had received stated and they checked my accounts at approximately 10pm on 11/22/20. At this time I spoke with the supervisor on shift at T-Mobile (Ela)and she told me that indeed, my stolen phone was not disabled that someone had access to it. All of my personal information was breached: Social security card, license, banking information and all my credit card apps, my work credit card and vital information for my work (HIPPA regulated) all highly sensitive patient information. Myself, my company and my clients have been violated. I also noticed that my Facebook account was logged in to a device that wasn't mine in another city. I noticed my Walmart account had charges about $800 that I didn't make on it either. I have been violated privacy and funds upwards of $10,000.00. We can settle this or my attorney can. The agent on the phone admitted your company dropping the ball and taking full responsibility for her negligence and told me she would be reaching out to me to resolve the matter on Friday 12/4/20. I reached back out on Saturday 12/5/20 and I got the run around of course but I will not let this go unnoticed. I've reached out numerous times and they admitted their wrong doing. My patience is lost, I am seeking legal alternatives. I spoke to a female named Nicole on Monday 12/7/20 and she tried to offer me 20 and I declined. HIPPA law alone should explain why this breach is unacceptable. I've made many attempts to resolve this matter with T-Mobile but continue to get the runaround so I want action to be taken. read more

Wish I could leave no stars. EVERY TIME I come here there's always a problem. I try to avoid this location as much as I can but it's so close to my house I always come here. I went in a few weeks ago for the T-Mobile Tuesday umbrella and I was a little annoyed that you have to be put on a waitlist when all they have to do is go to the back and grab it. Some other locations are smart, they leave the box near their desk and grab it for you right away. So I was irritated that I had to wait when I was in a hurry, so I decided to ask the worker how long is it gonna take? And his response was there's other people in front of you they're waiting so you have to wait. Do you not have any patience today? He went through everything with me piece by piece explaining. I transferred over 4 lines from Sprint and I could not be any happier with my decision! One of the most unwelcoming stores. This morning, I walked in the store and was "greeted" by this short, beard, male. Who asked for my number and name. I gave him the information he had asked me for. I also told him the reason of my visit. He rudely paused my mid-sentence with his hand, and said "I don't need to know why you're here; I'm just getting you checked in." He then asked if I had and ID, to which I replied yes. He then walked away. I walked around the store to see the products when out of nowhere he shows up and says "someone will be with you shortly." He then brings Jessica in and says she'll be the one to assist me. I explain to her the reason of my visit. My mother and I were there to purchase and iPad. Previous to our visit we had called 611 hoping to cancel a line, but we ended up turning it into an "iPad line" I told Jessica to look at the notes that were left from Yanira (the phone lady) She then asked what color tablet, I wanted. Given the unwelcoming entrance I told her whatever she had available. She comes back with the iPad and asks my mom for her ID. My mom was asked for her ID 4 times. I looked around and saw how other people were being attended and it was very poorly. The workers looked at the costumer like they were above them. Every question they ask was shut down by a rude, cold, and short answer. Jessica then asked for the form of payment, I handed her my Visa card. It's phony how they ask you for an ID to even help you, but are willing to charge a card without checking the cardholders ID. I am very dissatisfied, and angry at the way this store functions. YOU ARE HERE TO PROVIDE A WELCOMING AND SATISFIED EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR COSTUMERS!!! I work at a hotel as Front Desk Agent and I know a thing or two about costumer service. The people working are in some need of better costumer service training, but most importantly how to have a little of humility. read more

In December 2015 I brought a new cellphone plan. The "lady" was really friendly. I got a S6 under the same plan with a "GOOD" price, good DP and monthly payments. Yesterdar 4/18 I went to this store to see if they can give me another "GOOD DEAL"... SURPRISE!!! Your S6 was under a lease term...WTH????? Yes, the lady never told me about this "rent" NEVER. Today after 15 months I have to wait another 3 months to finish the contract and then take the decision to PAY ANOTHER 9 MONTHS MORE OR RETURN THE PHONE! But the bad thing about this store does not end here. After finding out that the truth was hidden from me, I try to see if I could buy another phone and the guy who answered me started to see numbers. After 2 minutes he tells me: to buy that phone would you have to pay $236 of DP plus taxes and monthly payments of $ 22. I was on my TMobile account on my phone and the same phone was asking me for only $78 from DP and $ 22 payments. When I asked him if they were charging a transaction fee, he said NO, and then show him my phone that under my TMOBILE account for the same phone would only pay $ 78 and not the $ 236 he was asking for ...the guy just me Said that was not true and that depended on my credit .... ONCE AGAIN THEY WAS LYING TO ME !!! I said thank you, I left the store. Today I bought ONLINE the same phone that they wanted to sell for $ 236 in only $ 78. I know they have to charge a transaction fee, but it is ILLEGAL to tell people that NO if they ask. NEVER, NEVER GO BACK HERE! read more

We went to the new T Mobile sore on Harbor because it just opened next to our house, and we were blown away by the service we recieved! We walked in because my camera wasn't working, which they fixed with the best service I have ever recieved! We ended up walking out with 2 sets of beats by Dre, because they let us know about their awesome services with payments!!!! The entire time they were so polite and kept us smiling and laughing! Very funny, respectful, and intelligent workers! The fellas that helped us were Humberto B, Jorge B and Paul the manager! I just wanna give a big shot out to them for making our experience great. I would have to say from the time of heading inside the door and from the time I left it was a great experience. The greeters were very friendly and the expert helping me with my phone problems was fantastic and had excellent customer service. Marshall took excellent care in troubleshooting my phone and easily helped me with my problems. I have been to many other T-mobile stores which have taken me an hour or more just to finally be talking with an expert. This store and this team helped me within 20 min during busy store hours. The MANAGER HERE IS THE WORST! They should've thought twice before making her a manager, she should've stayed on the tablet signing people in. I went in because a tablet we bought came defective and she had the nerve to blame us ( my family and I) for the defect. When my dad asked her "so you thought we did it" she just stayed quite, YOU CAN'T assume . So if you can't back up what you say don't ! She said she charger entrance was broken and to go fix it at a swap-meet. We took it to a tablet/phone repair shop and turns out the tablet came from the fabric DEFECTIVE! They even told us she was suppose to help but since she sucks at her job that was impossible for her to do. The defect came from the factory not US! I have it on receipt and everything! Don't try coming here believing you'll get help from her she doesn't know how to handle situations the right away, instead she'll try to blame the customer and turn you away! read more

Right after I used my jump program to trade in my iPhone 6 for a new Samsung Galaxy s7, I thought to myself "wow, what friendly service!" Little did I know, I called a month after my visit asking if there's anything I could do to trade my samsung s7 for a different color. During this call I was informed that I can use jump program, pay off half of my Samsung Galaxy, then be able to trade in for another phone. I told the girl on the phone "Oh, no. I used the jump program already to get this samsung galaxy s7." And in this moment I was informed that with jump program I could trade in my phone as many times as I want, as long as I paid off half. Now let's go back to my first visit when I purchased my phone. I asked the guy who was providing me service at least 3 times, if not more, "so with jump program it will take the money that I have paid for my iPhone 6 and transfer that payment over to this new Samsung galaxy?" I was super excited when he answered, "yes." I then also asked "so if I end up not liking this phone I can't trade in for another one correct?" He proceeds to answer "unfortunately no, you can only use jump program once, because you've technically paid off half already" SO, I thought maybe I misunderstood something, that using jump doesn't mean my money gets transferred over. But then I remember he told me I could only use jump program once, which made sense at the time since half the payment of my iPhone 6 gets transferred over to my new Samsung. I am very disappointed that I was tricked into buying a brand new Samsung Galaxy for its full price. I understand that I signed the contract, but who reads that thoroughly when the employee is already explaining everything to you? The manager should make sure that all employees are well aware of the programs they offer & do not false advertise, because the guy who helped me apparently knew nothing about the jump program and gave me 100% false information & now theres nothing they can do about it. I really like this store. The sale associates are friendly and helpful. The only downside is the wait time, but once you get assisted they take there their time and answer all your questions.
