When I tried calling the local office, someone with an accent started screaming at me. I asked to speak to someone in the local office, and he started yelling asking if I thought Windstream started in Dalton Ga. He just kept screaming that I needed to call customer service and hung up on me. I called same number back and he went straight to yelling and screaming telling me not to ever call that number again, and then hung up. I didnt get to say anything. A couple of c/s ppl have helped, but when you have talked with 20 of them and only 2 tried. Thats bad.

The customer service is awful. They make it very difficult to speak to a person. They are rude, not…read morefriendly, and the English is poor. they charge $6.95 to run your card, and if it doesn't go through they will continue to run it, while charging $6.95 each time. Asking a person to reverse these charges is near impossible.. also my service would lag a lot, and randomly go out, taking up to 10 minutes each time to reconnect. The charge of $128 a month is ridiculous. I wouldn't use them if you have another choice.

Despite the staff knowing what they are doing they do absolutely nothing to warn you or allow you to opt out of it either. They are the lowest of the low and nothing but greedy scumbags that are willing to sacrifice their customers sanity just to make extra profit by selling your phone number as soon as the day after you switch to their awful business. Until we tried to use our internet. It was spotty at best. I reached out to the customer service tech who told me to buy a wireless booster - $40 later and it did absolutely nothing. after a month of bad service, with no change to the crappy service, I tried to have someone come out to the house and see what the problem is. I was told on the phone that our house was out of their service area and it probably wouldn't improve. SO - not only did they knowingly install service outside their area, but then sent me to collections because I didn't want to pay for someone to uninstall all the equipment and close out the account... After the experience, I reached out to others and apparently this is not uncommon at all for RTC.
