The workers are incompetent and clearly focused on their commission over customer service. I walked in to transfer one of my lines from my Legacy Sprint account over to its own account on T-Mobile. They asked probing questions, then insisted "The System" won't allow that and would cancel all of my lines and I must transfer all lines over to T-Mobile, and then transfer out the single line onto its own account. That's right, you read correctly, a double process in order to increase their sales numbers. They never asked for my name or looked into my account. The second worker spoke to me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I explained this could easily be done via T-Mobile.com if I had a SIM card. Why all the pushback for a simple task? I asked to sell me a SIM card. He insisted that it wasn't going to work and they weren't responsible if I did it on my own. I asked a second time to sell me the SIM card since they weren't willing to help. The worker had a bad attitude and sold me the SIM card and repeated it wouldn't work. I am new in town, formerly from the San Francisco Bay area. And it takes alot of adjusting to come to this commonwealth. And I was in a bind. I went to the T-Mobile kisok, right at noon. The customers were literally coming from all sides. But the lines moved quickly. Even though there was a language barrier, the manager went out of his way to help and explain things to me clearly, He also delegated to his staff while multitasking 3 customers. I was returning a phone, because it was a replacement for one I lost, then found a week later. Also, I needed the money to help a friend of mine, very quickly, so I returned a new phone I bought. There were the service charges, that I already knew about, but the agreed to refund me in cash, and were very helpful. Also, he gave me the old sim card to help me fix the old phone. They were a bit too helpful, because they didn't have enough money in the till to pay me. Some quick thinking allowed me to buy a speaker and split the difference. All this while handling a line. It was amazing how so many people could work in such a small space. The phone was returned, my friend got the money she needed, and the day was saved. This is not the only event, as I have renewed and bought things for my phone in the last few months. I have found the staff members on their own to be helpful and courteous.
