This place started off in a very promising way, recently taken over by a young couple who said they wanted to improve the area, create a meeting place that people wanted to visit. They said there would be food in the near future and various events, such as barbecues and the like. Unfortunately, none of this has happened. The bar is still very limited as far as spirits are concerned, there is no hot food. And, the worse thing if all is that the service leaves a great deal to be desired. The barmaid ( co owner) spends all her time on her iPad or phone meaning that you have to go to her to get served. I have witnessed her and partner actually folding their underwear on the bar, as well as shelling shrimp and giving medicine to their dog, which seems to have free range. Hand hygiene is not existent. We shall not be visiting again. read more
