It has a good…read moreselection of shops - Next, Schuh, River Island, Republic, House of Fraser, Beaverbrooks - to name a few. There's also a few coffee shops dotted up and down the street. My only advice to people shopping here is NOT to park in the underground car park - they charge extortionate prices to park the car. You are better off choosing one of the outside car parks like Brewer Street.

They had some nice little shops browse around, a beauty clinic, health food shop and lots of other places to see, We were there early so not much was open apart from the main cafe in the centre of the ground floor but it was well worth it for the glass roof alone.

But I had to pay a surcharge having lost my "car park chip" which I had just paid for by Card, £1.50. Couldn't go back up to the 5th floor to get it, v bad ankle. The boy didn't care, he read from his script. So I paid another £5 just to get out. Bye bye Chequers, I'll give Fremlin Walk a go when my ankle heals up, or maybe Tunbridge Wells.

Gary found the perfect suite for me shirt, tie and and even special ordered the waistcoat as never had my size. Fully altered to perfection and fits lovely. Please stop using big outlets and use our local businesses as you will not get this service anywhere and Gary and his team are credit to themselves and that's why they have been in business over 30 years. I can't thank them enough !! MR B
I love Wilkinsons. It is a great store for literally everything you need around the home…read more I used to spend loads on cleaning products, and household products, then i came across Wilkinsons in The Mall. Is is located on the ground floor. Wilkinsons sell everything, household cleaning goods, beauty prdocuts, pet food, bedroom sheets, cushions, lights, paint, you name it, they probably do it. I stick to Wilkinsons because they prices are always so good, and they have loads of fantastic buy one get one free offers. The only thing i hate is how packed it gets on a weekend. You normally line up for about 10 minutes to pay, but i guess i shouldn't grumble, especially because the prices are soo good. Plus, now that Woolworths has gone, i'm guessing this will be the place i buy my Pick n Mix from!
