I'm pleased to report that Beyer Deli was everything you said it was. Thanks Yelpers!…read more Now that's a sandwich! The hours may be a little skimpy, but the meats are bountiful...pause. A little off the beaten path...yes Selective hours while you're probably working...yeah Worth an extended lunch to grab one of these sandos...Absolutely! Dena and the crew are putting together some seriously delicious and well-thought-out, stacked sandos. While you won't be getting a footlong roll, the sizable portion of fillings makes for an excellent meat to bread ratio. And speaking of bread, while most of the sandwiches come on a fresh torta roll, you also have your choice of sourdough, wheat, rye, squaw, French roll, wrap, or croissant. Now that's wassup. What I tried on this visit: The New Yorker and The Italian Both sandwiches were absolutely fire. I started with the Italian and the first thing I noticed was the beautiful, shimmering, thinly sliced red onion. The shine on the veggies immediately let me know they were perfectly dressed with oil and vinegar. Upon separating the two halves to reveal the innards, layers upon layers of freshly sliced meats were waiting to be devoured. First bite...ecstasy. Not only were the veggies dressed, they were also seasoned. The combination of the flavorful proteins, tasty veggies, and fluffy torta, were a HIT! This sandwich was juicy in all the right ways. My only wish is that I would have substituted the American cheese with more provolone or swiss. Moving on to The New Yorker...Hello Pastrami!! Bomb, bomb, bomb. Both the corned beef and the pastrami were smackin' on this hot sando. Wonderfully tender, lean, flavorful proteins were packed inside this torta for absolute deliciousness. I wish I had one right now. The only thing that would have made this better was some horseradish mustard. Along with sandwiches there are breakfast items including bagels and a burrito, salads, soups, chips, and a famous brownie. Unfortunately, the brownies were sold out by the time I arrived, but I'll definitely pick one up the next time they're available. Great pickles, free parking, a few outside tables, and some inside seating rounds out the experience. Call ahead to minimize the wait. Thanks Dena and crew! I'll be back!!!

Finally had the chance to try this place. A cousin of mine grew up in the area and has always told…read moreme to come but I just now had the chance. I had the New Yorker and when I asked I didn't know what brea to pick so I was recommended sourdough with provolone cheese. I devoured the sandwich it was so good. Everyone here is so nice with service and the customer in mind. You can tell they remember the returning customers when someone comes in to pick up an order and they mention, "you remember" pertaining to a specific way they like an order. Heads up, it's cash only
