Proprietor was nice and the store was clean. The store is a combination head shop/tobacco shop/vape shop, so I bypassed the cannabis products as that is not my thing. This review is solely for their cigars. They had a relatively impressive humidor with some quality cigars, albeit at inflated prices. Again, I was in a pinch, so I made a few purchases anyway despite the markup. However, upon getting home, each cigar I purchased proceeded to crack and fall apart as they were smoked, indicating poor humidification. Whoever maintains these humidors: please get a handle on proper humidity, because you are drying out what would be some excellent cigars, and you're selling cigars that are DRIED OUT. It defeats the purpose of enjoying a fine cigar. Lesson learned, and $60 down the drain. Won't be back.

Tonight I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered at Montecristo in…read moreParamus. I stepped away from my table for roughly two minutes to use the restroom, leaving my jacket, my drink, and a cigar I was actively smoking. When I returned, my entire table had been cleared including my cigar despite my personal belongings still being there. I asked to speak with the manager, Ric, to explain what happened. Instead of taking ownership or attempting to resolve the situation, he told me he "didn't know I was coming back" and decided to clear the table anyway. Even after I pointed out that my jacket was still at the table, he simply said it was an error and there was nothing he was going to do. What made the situation even worse was his attitude. He then questioned whether I had purchased the cigar there and tried to tell me I should have paid a $10 fee for bringing one in something I have NEVER been charged in my many previous visits. Rather than acknowledging his mistake, he doubled down. I suggested a simple goodwill gesture allowing me to buy a replacement cigar at a discount and he flatly and rudely refused. When I asked what he could do to make the situation right, he said "nothing" and ended the conversation. Mistakes happen in hospitality. What's unacceptable is the complete lack of accountability, empathy, or basic customer care from management. The dismissive and confrontational response turned a simple error into a truly negative experience. Based on how this was handled, I will not be returning and I would strongly caution others about the level of service they can expect if an issue arises.

I found out about All City Vapes from one of the staff who was a Lyft customer of mine, and stopped right by since it was a block from where I drove him. He informed me about really good prices on ejuice and he wasn't kidding. The soft spoken owner Anthony is very helpful if you ask. I am always on the lookout for a good juice and he seemed to know a lot with an 8 years of vaping passion, so I asked him what his favorite juice was and he introduced me to Tally Ho! This stuff is a game changer; a delicate yet hearty vanilla bourbon flavor like a fine cordial but not super sweet or harsh even at .06mg nicotine. They even have ashtrays mounted on the wall between urinals so you truly never have to leave your cigar behind, lol. They have a huge parking lot as they sit on a site all their own. I was surprised to learn that when ordering food (not desserts or drinks) you get a cigar with it. You don't choose it, they do. I got a 'Romeo y Julieta Reserve,' so a quality cigar, not some random nonsense. Not truly sure if that is every time, or just your first time there, which for me it was. I ordered their parm garlic wings & they were very good and well prepared. The space is great & very comfortable. Servers come to you and take your order and bring your food, so you never have to even leave your lounge chair. I found 4 cigars that I hadn't been able to find elsewhere & 2 cigars that I ended up ordering online in the past. Now I know where to find all 6 for future enjoyment. Prices on everything are fair. For 5 cigars, food, non-alcoholic drink, & tip I spent about $110 & got a good complimentary cigar. This place will be highly recommended by me moving forward.

The best value was the cheese plate, which at $15 was huge and included fruit. Now, that cheese platter is actually smaller than it used to be and costs $44! The decor is pretty cool ... dark and moody ... but there are a couple TVs with sports playing and high ceilings. The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. Imagine what a guy would look like that would want to smoke a cigar while eating and that's exactly what you will find here as a customer. Fake Sopramos accent ... beefy ... loud ... gold chain ... It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu. The drinks are pricey, so a sandwich, a beer ... and I guess you could count the free cigar ... come to around $40, after tip.
