(That's me being nice.) It was pretty chilly outside. So there was a draft in the building. It took about a half hour to bring the hookah over. It didn't pull well. They were charging for new coals. But we were over it at that point. And all of this for $10/per person cover(2 of us), 1 $7 drink, and a $39 hookah! So a $70 check that also took them about 20 minutes to bring over. I'm not using a men's restroom that has no lock on the door in an seedy establishment like this. I immediately walk back to the front and ask the lady for my $10 back. She waves over this heavier set light skin dude with small braids or locs, and I asked him for the refund. He said they don't do refunds yet there's no sign at the entrance that says that & even if there was I've been in the building for less than 5 minutes, so why couldn't they accommodate the request when it's their fault for not having a working women's restroom or unisex bathroom with a locked door. No missed calls on the phone. - The $122 charge went through just fine. - We are at a large convention in Memphis. We got the menu from a pile of them that was placed at a table at our convention. Those menus are now in the garbage. We waited almost an hour from the time we ordered till we made that phone call. These people didn't care enough to bother reaching out to us. So don't bother to patronize them.
