Just ate at this place…read more FOOD: wonderful pizza! Wood fired and hot when you get it. We also tried the garlic rolls and those were very good as well. SERVICE: The service was very good. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the meal. I would have appreciated being checked on a little more often for drink refills, but overall she did a great job and made us feel welcome. AMBIENCE: It's dog-friendly, which is always a big plus for us. Outdoor seating is available on a small patio. It was perfectly fine for us since we're used to patio dining near busy streets from spending time in Austin, and honestly, it can be pretty entertaining people-watching. The only downside is that if someone nearby is smoking, you're kind of stuck with it while sitting outside. SUGGESTIONS: It would be a nice touch to offer water bowls or small treats for dogs visiting the patio.

This is an order for pickup. I placed an order on DoorDash because this restaurant would not answer…read morethe phone. I called a few times but it kept going directly to voicemail. After placing the order on DoorDash, we arrived at the estimated time. It took forever for someone to help the folks in the queue. I was told to pick up at the bar. Honestly, the place was not that busy. I have no idea why they can't answer the phone or manage the queue. I've been at locations with more people and similar staff size. They need to either improve their operations or hire more staff if it's a busy time for them. At the bar, a guy was in front of me and that order took a bit to complete - he was offered red pepper flakes and parm. And there was some chit chat. During my turn, they got it out but it was obviously missing an order. The lady didn't even notice that line item (soup in a bread bowl) missing. It's listed there - if it is not on the menu anymore, do not pretend like there was nothing wrong. Very shady, very distrustful. I asked the lady about the order and she said the bread bowl is not on the menu anymore. I was going to ask a question and interrupts me and says that she couldn't do anything as she walks away. She didn't even offer me red pepper flakes or parm. Very rude, very distasteful. Whatever, I can take it up with DoorDash but she was rude. I went back with two specialty pizzas. I thought the pizzas were alright - I do have comments. I think the wood roasted pizza concept is good since there isn't one in the area. However, the crust was definitely not the star (one would assume it should be for wood roasted). One pizza (baked potato) was definitely a bit pale for the crust - seemed like it could have been in there for longer but I enjoyed the toppings. The other pizza (holy pork) had a better crust but still something I didn't finish - the toppings were one note. The peach didn't add much to the flavors after it was overpowered by the pork. I think I would be rated the food better cause it wasn't bad but the service left a bad taste in my mouth which lasted throughout the meal. Honestly, I didn't even finish it. I always leave tip for pick up orders and I left one via DoorDash when I placed my order for The Purple Pig, but my experience with The Purple Pig makes me reconsider giving a tip all the time for other pick up orders at restaurants. I order out a lot and haven't experienced this before so it's unfortunate.

Popped into this brewery on our road trip and let's just say this was such a great stop! The food…read morewas delicious! We started off with their Bavarian pretzel with queso and it was one of the best pretzels we've had. Soft and fresh out of the oven! My boyfriend had their beer flight and said that each beer tasted good. He ended up getting the patty melt with onion rings and was very impressed! The sizes of our meals were huge! I got the crispy chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was the star of the show! I sometimes am nervous about getting crispy chicken on a salad because I feel like it can be hard to get right but I found myself wanting more of the chicken on the salad!! If you are stopping by Alamosa we definitely recommend stopping here!!!

My wife and I went here for a date night. Food was not good at all. I got the chicken bacon Swiss…read morewith red potatoes, & my wife got the French dip with a side salad. We got the pretzel as an appetizer.... The pretzel was greasy and so was the cheese they gave with it. The cheese seemed frozen, then microwaved. It had a really dull/greasy taste and odd texture. The French dip was like rubber. And the au jus sauce was bland. For her the best part was the side salad. She even said her beer had an odd taste to it. My chicken sandwich had no flavor. The red potatoes where severly over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. My drink (the house black cherry cream soda), was really good the first glass! Second glass was flat and very syrupy. The server briefly came by a couple times. He would quickly ask "everything ok?", as he rushed by. He wasn't horrible, but he wasn't great either. Overall we where very unimpressed. Not somewhere we'll be returning to. For the price, I had better expectations.
