On June 3rd, the owner clearly stated in writing that the $1,500 labor charge for the second job included digging the holes, planting, and watering 58-60 trees for the next year. After payment, they completely changed their story and denied agreeing to provide the watering service, even though I have their original written words proving it was part of the deal. The owner's statements have been inconsistent and contradictory, and the lack of honesty has been extremely disappointing. They tried to gaslight after backtracking ( trees are now yellow + they kept delaying planting the second trees for months despite payment, only got a refund on the not planted trees not the 40 expensive trees that are turning yellow cause they backtracked on their agreement and refused to water them. i would not recommend this company to anyone looking for transparency or professionalism

I contacted Iron City Fence and spoke with the owner Robert. He came by assessed the gate and said he didn't have the tools available to fix it but would send someone back the next day. True to his word, his crew came out the next day and fixed it with no charge. Not many companies would fix a fence after 8 months. If you need a new fence you might want to try them. Fast forward to having a recommended deck and fence person that was recommended come out, give a quote, and then ghost, then you have me using the handy dandy Request A Quote feature on Yelp. Fencing Unlimited was the only one to respond and Alex was very quick in all responses. He came out and gave me a quote the very next week on that and another small project I had. He was up front and said it might be a few weeks before he could do it since he had a few other major projects going at the same time. I appreciated his honesty and was happy to wait. The only issue I had is that he went radio silent for more than a few weeks. But like I said, he was busy and I get that. So after a quick phone call, he said he would have people out the very next week. Which he did. They did amazing work. They even went above and beyond and fix some of our loose spindles even though I didn't ask. When he came to check on the work (which a recent contractor never did), he apologized for the delay. We had 800+ feet of chain-link fence, a 16' double gate, a 12' and an 8' single gate, installed this past April by another local company (which shall remain nameless for legal reasons). We had to have these "other guys" out a few more times to make "corrections" - which they just couldn't do, not without screwing up something else...with their "good-enough" or "that's the way WE do it" attitudes (and the crew couldn't speak or understand English). We were frustrated and fed up, and couldn't see anything EVER being "right" (even with a 1-year warranty on labor). After much research, and wading through the "real" reviews, we called B&B in mid-July; "Can y'all fix this s__t?" After a lengthy review of the obvious problems and proposed solutions, Jentry assured us they could eliminate the humps and sags, and floppy fabric, and too-short / out-of-plumb line-posts, and uneven margins, and loose tension-wire, and fix the gates, and.... "Let's do it." "Ed" and his crew were here, early. We did a quick review of the tasks to be done, and they got to work. All of the line-posts were removed, and replaced with new ones; and this time they were straight, plumb, and a string-line used to cut them to the EXACT height (as opposed to no evidence of a string-line being used by the "other guys"). The loop caps were PROPERLY placed, the old terminal posts were cut to PROPER height and caps set level, the fabric was stretched "TIGHT," and was attached with the industry-recommended number of ties so that there was "half-a-diamond" showing above the top-rail (NOT a whole diamond - give-or-take). The gate posts were re-configured for PROPER spacing of the gates and the provided latches, all of the dug-up rocks and dirt were removed (as opposed to being left where dug up, or strategically hidden about the property, as per the original installer). ALL of this was accomplished in LESS than three days, even when digging the holes BY HAND, and for at least half a day with only two men working, vs. three. When there was any question, we could quickly communicate, confer, and decide. (The previous installer initially took four days, using a tracked machine to dig the holes, and a machine to mix the concrete, and with three men who needed help to understand how to use a drill to drill holes in gate-posts.) B&B's crew, with "Ed" as the foreman, was OUTSTANDING! We're SO pleased with their work - it looks GREAT, and all of the gates close and latch properly now! The owner, Brett, was readily available, and was out to personally inspect the job. If you're needing fencing done RIGHT the first time, you won't regret hiring this outfit to do it.
