I'm sure all the photographers at North Shore Photography are fabulous, but if you want Anna be sure to book way ahead and there's also an extra fee to reserve her. Throughout the planning process I knew I chose right because Anna and her office were wonderful to work with. They were super accommodating working around the synagogues schedule. We first met up with Anna last July to do a photo shoot outside at Ravinia Festival, which was where we were hosting the party. It was the most gorgeous summer day, although pretty hot. Anna worked fast in the heat to get amazing photos of my daughter and overall it was super chill and just fun. We spent a lot of time with Anna the weekend of the bat mitzvah and pretty much every member of my family remarked how much they liked her. She was super organized, got thru all the family pics so fast and just very easy to be around. She clearly does this a lot- actually i believe our synagogue photos were her 3rd shoot just that day! Anna and her assistant did a wonderful job capturing it all the night of the party. We did another round of quick family photos and then they got everything in the moment. I wasn't expecting to see pics for at least a few weeks, but had them 5 days later...and they were just perfect. She got some great family pics, shots of my daughter having the time of her life and even photos of all the little details that we created to make event extra special. I've already signed the contract to have Anna photograph my son's bar mitzvah and look forward to seeing her again!

From the moment we met him, he put my daughter at ease with his friendly demeanor and clear direction. Doru has an incredible eye for capturing both the iconic Loyola campus spots and finding unique, unexpected settings that made my daughter's photos truly stand out. He knew exactly how to work with the natural light and architecture to create stunning compositions that perfectly captured this milestone in her life. What impressed me most was how he balanced professionalism with making the session fun and relaxed. My daughter isn't usually comfortable in front of the camera, but Doru's encouragement and gentle guidance brought out her authentic smile and personality in every shot. The turnaround time was impressive, and when we received the final gallery, we were absolutely blown away. The quality, variety, and emotional impact of these photos exceeded all our expectations. We've received countless compliments on them from family and friends. If you're looking for a senior photographer who goes above and beyond to create beautiful, meaningful images that you'll treasure forever, Doru is absolutely the person to call. We're already planning to book him for our younger child's senior photos!

Her work is very airy and minimally processed. I contacted her about three months before my baby was born to make sure that we had an appointment available (she only takes five newborn shoots per month). Reda was prompt and continued to communicate with me even after my baby was born a week after his due date. Her studio is in her home; it is clean, comfortable, and you can park right outside her house. There are so many windows that allow for natural light to come in (which helps with their airy feelings of her finished photos). Her studio is kept at a warm temperature (perfect for the baby). You can pay via cash, Venmo, or quick-pay. A couple of weeks before my baby's birth, we spoke about my ideas/vision, and when we met for the shoot, she had those items ready. However, if you changed your mind, she has an extensive collection of wraps, backgrounds, and accessories. She is also the baby whisperer; whenever the baby would begin to whimper/cry, she knew what to do so that the baby would stop crying and be ready to take pictures. Reda gave us four finished images the day after the shoot and the finished gallery about three weeks later. I would highly recommend Juodis Photography for newborn photography because her studio is clean, her finished images are gorgeous, and her personality is perfect for new parents and babies. She is a pleasure to work with and is open to parent suggestions/ a parent's vision. Thank you, Reda!
