Yes very long review, but would never recommend, still very upset.
In Feb 2020, My wedding was amazing, but it's taken me this long because I still get that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when I think about everything I could have done to avoid this, however I'm not the expert they are and should have guided me, only because I had no control to change the little things that made my special night not perfect and could have been, I started with Erin who was very good practically a year before the wedding, then no one notified me she had left, until I contacted them a month before the day, and no one bothered to go over the whole plan, yes I guess I should have known better and insisted, but they said they had everything in writing, unfortunately no they did not....
Starting with basics, the menu had special request for kids nuggets and chips not on their list, on the way to the spot I said no alcohol, but they didn't even give my guests water I paid for unlimited soft drinks and juices and the canapes didn't come out until the end of my ceremony got interrupted....
It was a 30 min ride before the ceremony where this should have been served
Then i find out they are charging my guests at dinner for alcohol, I paid for unlimited beer, wine and whiskey, WTF.... My guest were not advised of this.
I had a buffet dinner and I find out too late that my guests where going back for seconds and got refused and for health and safety reason, understandably, I couldn't take all the leftover food I paid for that my guests could have eaten
My maid of honour took the cake to them early and told them how to put on my two cake toppers...they did opposite, also they got told not to cut the small top Teer yet they did the whole cake and threw out all the leftover cake I was supposed to take home uncut now our tradition is ruined, to have wedding cake for our one year anniversary.
They got my seating chart wrong and even though I told them when I was waiting before the ceremony to change it and was told it would be done by dinner.... It wasn't.
Also they blamed one of my guest that "didn't want to get up from the table" reason why I didn't get my dance floor, when they could have set the chairs along the edge and guests could still sit.
I also had for each child a bag with their name and some entertainment like colouring in and toys and lollies, etc, they decided not to give them out as it had small pieces, they could have told me and I would have changed it.... None of the children took their goodie bag
The day after I went to pick up my leftover decorations,..... I had a few plastic tubs to put things in. The cake toppers were just thrown in and both broke, I had a sand ceremony they just had to put the vase back in the box... You guessed it, it was also put in the plastic box loosely and all the sand went everywhere, I was lucky that the crystal set wasn't broken.
I was then told they would get back to me about all my complaints even though nothing could be done I expected at least some kind of compensation, the Sonia tells me she has cancer and she will taking time off and she would give my message to the office, I completely understood and didn't want to invade her privacy, as no one called me back I called a week later and was told Sonia was in a meeting and would leave a message to call me back...... I'm still waiting..... Even though I called a couple more times but they probably could see my number.....
Also they did something I specifically asked them not to as my photographer said photos would be nicer with the Opera House in the background, they left the flower arch as a gift.... I think they just didn't have time to take it off as they were running late also yet it finished on time so they ended up owing me about 20 min of my cruise.
My beautiful guests tell me it was all wonderful.... But I know better read more
