I originally told Kendra I was not going to leave her a poor review, however after not getting what…read morewas agreed to I feel I need to share my experience with others. I had booked with Kendra in May of 2017. We talked over the phone and agreed to wait until fall to do an engagement shoot. Kendra sent me a two page contract, I signed it, and sent it back with deposit, no problem. Then comes October and I scheduled our engagement shoot with her. I scheduled my makeup appointment and my fiancé took off work. The day of our shoot comes and I contact Kendra to confirm our meeting place (about 3-4 hours prior) and she tells me she is still in Maryland and cannot make it. I feel as though she should've contacted me first as soon as she knew she wasn't going to make it. We rescheduled for the next weekend. Once again, I rescheduled my makeup appointment (paid a cancellation fee) and my fiancé took off work (not an easy task). Then comes the next Sunday and Kendra cancelled again (due to family illness), a few hours before the scheduled shoot. I planned to reschedule again, but explained that if we had any more issues we would have to go our separate ways. Her response to this was "that's fine". She simply did not seem to care that I had to pay multiple cancellation fees for my makeup appointments, my fiancé had to take off work on days he typically works, or that she was inconveniencing us. I understand that things happen, but I believe she could have given more notice and given a more professional response than "that's fine". When I decided to find another photographer I let Kendra know and we had a brief conversation. We came to the agreement that she would refund half of my $300 deposit because I never received or signed a "terms and conditions" page stating that we would not receive it upon cancellation. It is now two months later and I still have not received that $150.

They were so much fun to work with. In other weddings we've attended, sometimes machines break down or they run out of paper (I know, what?!) But we didn't have any of these issues. Additionally, they sent us a super cute photo box with a USB of our photos and a lot of the print outs! One piece of advice I have for any couple is to have a mirror around, or ask your photographers to see yourself before the photos begin. Simply because my bangs didn't look as good as I wish they did. We're pretty laid back and didn't have a lot of specifications about what we wanted and Justin was just so comfortable taking the lead. He made us feel at ease in front of the camera and captured so many beautiful candid moments of us and our guests. We had two 80 person ceremonies, a traditional Indian one and an American one. Both nights, Justin hustled to get every shot we didn't even know we wanted. His energy is so much fun to be around and all out guests made comments about how hard he worked and how friendly he is.
