Ordered a takeaway to the house on Thursday night. It arrived strangely fast(10 mins). Usually ordering takeaway from swords garden is very straight forward, no problems. The food arrived and we were starving, stating to dish up, we noticed a strange taste off the chicken curry dish and I continued to open up the rest of the sauces and dishes. There was a strong smell coming from the bbq sauce as if there was some sort of detergent inside. We then noticed the whole order just didn't seem right (strange tasting food and strong smells). We called the store and told them about the food not being right and we were immediately questioned about everything "how is the rice" "how is the chips" I politely answered that we were not concerned about the rice and chips it was the sauces and the meat that I was concerned about. So after about 20 mins of arguing over the phone, she eventually agreed to send the manager out and he took the food and refunded me for a section of it. Told me he would get back to me never did. Called the store again tonight to see what he had to say about the food, and he said there was no problem with it that it was all perfect just extra salty. I'm extremely dissatisfied with not only the quality of the food but the denial and the treatment I got from the staff member and the manager. When I told him we weren't happy he just said no, when I told him I was unwell from the food he just said no. Extremely rude and not listening to what I had to say. Both me and my mother were sick all weekend after tasting the food. Luckily we noticed it before we ate more. We all went to bed very hungry and upset as we all work long shifts and just wanted to sit back relax and have our dinner. read more
