The purchase we had was for a necklace and was an Anniversary gift from my husband on our week in Vail. What came next was shocking. We called the owner and then he text me stating, "Do you have the product or no? Did you use it or no? You broke it. You can read our return policy". The item clearly broke from a defect . He dismissed me and immediately told me to get it fixed on my own and it was terrifying. We never complain and have been coming to Vail for 27 years. He should not be in business and you won't find out how savage his customer service skills are until something goes wrong. I am type A, raised to Aerospace Engineers whereby everything is treated w/utmost care and detail. We do things with ethics and kindness. This will be reported to Vail Village and further taken to filing in court bc he needs to be accountable for his business practices. He wasn't even concerned to try to understand where it had come apart and how the design was poorly made. Absolutely arguing the minute the conversation began. Do not shop in this store because of the lack of skills if something goes wrong.

Everything was beautiful! Because I do not live in Colorado, Ali offered to ship my lamp home for me, at no cost. Be sure to stop in this store when you are in Vail Village. After confirming at 9 AM the day before start, I received a call from Western at 3 PM to let us know they had just taken a large tree removal project and would not be able to start the following day as committed pushing us out to an indeterminate start date. A respected contractor referred us to Steamboat Lightscapes who were not only able to fit us in their schedule two weeks later but also performed with the utmost professional and integrity. Dustin was in constant communication with us from start to finish and his team were self-driven, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. We had 6 very large trees to remove and all were taken down without any damage to anything on our property. The job was started and completed on time and exceeded all expectations. I can't recommend their services highly enough. If you want a company that will stand by their commitment and perform with the highest standards, Steamboat Lightscapes is the absolute best choice. Don't let the name fool you. They're great with lighting but EXCEL at tree care.

STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY! . SO HERE'S THE STORY... Over the holiday's I called him to have our lighting issue at home worked on. First off, he answers his business phone in a grumpy pissed off hello that I had to question if I was even calling the right place. He told me to call him next Tuesday. He didn't even extend the courtesy to take down my name and number to call me. So finally we get ahold of this guy and he was supposed to be at our house this morning at 9am. As my husband sits there at 9:30 with no phone call or arrival from this guy, he leaves him a voicemail. What does this man do then, he TEXTS my husband and says truck problems, not today! Are you kidding me? Not only does this man not call, he texts and doesn't even try to resolve this problem. So then, I leave him a voicemail stating how he acted was unprofessional and that he could of extended some professional courtesy to us. I receive a voicemail back from him a few minutes ago and he says--- I'm extending some professional courtesy to you and telling you to find somebody else to fix your electrical problems. Do you really think I was going to use him? LOL, what type of business person does this? Oh yeah, someone who wants a bad rep around town. Good job Bill Morrison!
