For the starter, my wife had the cannelloni with shredded chicken and mushrooms (with pine nuts, arugula and parmesan) and I had the traditional Catalan stew with a rich assortment of meats, vegetables, pasta shells and an amazing broth. Both plates were absolutely outstanding. Our second main course was roasted sea bass (with potatoes and zucchini, a prawn and an amazing sauce). The folks at the next table had the beef confit, which they swore was as good as it gets. The meal was accompanied by a bottle of a very tasty rioja, and topped off with a scrumptious dessert... apple strudel with a vanilla sauce and a scoop of really good pistachio ice cream. ...followed by a second dessert of assorted turrones and wafers.
