The shop is clean and tidy and the staff there are helpful. As with most charity shops, whether or not they have something that you like or want is a matter of pot luck. I did buy a nice bag in there recently. And if you like having a mooch around all the charity shops, then this one is situated in a good place.

They don't have that smell that somestimes you get in these shops. The prices are good and I try to hand items into them when I am passing. They cover all the areas of bric a brac and are trying to get more supplies in all the time. It is well worth a visit and make sure and say hello and smile at the people behind the counter as they do not get paid for this work.

The British Heart Foundation have a charity shop in Havelock Street. The British Heart Foundation sell mostly used clothing and bric a brac, books, toys that has been donated, but also some new items. The staff there are polite and helpful and I would say it is worth having a look. You might happen to find something you are looking for. You can also pop in to take a bag away to fill up, if you feel like sorting through your own stuff and decluttering.
