I came to Swift Passport Services on very short notice, and Jennifer and Kamille were absolutely incredible. They were extremely professional, friendly, and reassuring throughout the entire process. I felt completely comfortable entrusting them with my passport, which says a lot about the level of service and professionalism they provide. I would highly recommend Swift Passport Services to anyone looking for a safe, reliable, and professional passport service in the Chi area. They made a stressful situation feel easy and seamless. If I could give them zero stars I would. Swift Passport services used to be great. I've used them for the last six passports for my family. They are either under new ownership or they changed their system completely. There is absolutely no need to use Swift. When you call, they direct you to the US government website to find the passport application yourself. Then they have you make your own appointment with the passport agent, usually at the post office. Then, there is no one answering the phone ever. They call you back after you leave a voicemail so if you don't have time to wait for them to call you back, don't bother. You can expedite your own passport with the post office in two-three weeks or go to another passport expediting service. Swift used to be the best in town. They had an in-office staff, they even took the pictures right in their office. That appears to be gone. For $349 I expect more than an email basically telling me to do it myself. read more

Got my China X2 visa in record time. Avoiding the hassle of rountrip visit to LA was more than worth the cost. Special shout out to Jennifer's excellent customer service via email--I reached out with several questions and one stressful situation on my end, and each time her responses were prompt, informative and friendly. Her TLC throughout this process make me 100% willing to recommend Swift and go straight back to this service if ever needed in the future. read more

Excellent 5-star service from Swift! Pro Tip: Building lobby is closed from Noon to 1PM. Minus 1-star because the lobby attendant is a tyrant. She told me to stand along the wall, so I did ... but chose the wrong wall, so I switched walls when instructed. But there is a magical, undocumented place to stand ... and I failed to guess it by six, count'm 6, inches. She swiftly and loudly corrected my failure to read her mind. We are going to Egypt in January. One of our obligations is to obtain a visa. Should be no big deal, right? Wrong. Try to figure out the Egyptian web site for visas. It takes a lot of trial and error. Mostly error. I was never able to get it to take a submit although I did end up figuring out how to put the information all in. And it took me about four hours of wasted time to get as far as I did. I finally gave up in frustration and contacted Swift Passport and Visa Services. A little expensive? Maybe. But I have a lot more to do with my time than get frustrated all afternoon on a Saturday. So, I went with it. They hand-held me at every question I had and assured me that it would all work out. It did! I was very happy!!! Paul was magnificent! And, we have our visas in hand a month before we have to go. Highly recommend Swift! You won't be sorry! Take one big worry off your plate. Thank you, Swift and Paul!!! read more

Pressed I was very impressed with how swift Swift Passport helped out and made things happen. We had used them a year ago too, and things moved very smoothly, and we got all of our paperwork and/passports received on time. It was a great relief. We recently used them again, and although there was a snafu, they handled it very well and professionally. They did not leave us in the lurch, and we remained in good hands with them. I especially want to thank Rob. I highly recommend Swift. You will be in good hands, too. read more

Cannot say enough about the professionalism, friendly, courteous and downright exceedingly good staff and service. IF you are in need of an expedited Passport, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! Andre' bent over backwards to help our family. You could not ask for better service. We had no idea how stringent Disney's rules were for passport renewal and were it not for Swift, our family trip would have been cancelled. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THESE GUYS!!!! read more

So grateful for Swift's help! It was super stressful. Less than two weeks before takeoff, we realized that our son's passport had expired. We reached out to Swift and their response immediately put us at ease. We knew the options, the requirements, the timing and the costs. The entire process was super smooth. THANK YOU, Swift, for helping us keep our sanity! You were there when we needed you and we are so grateful... read more

I could not be happier with the services I received from Swift Passport & Visa Services. Jennifer was extremely helpful and responsive from beginning to end, and it gave me the confidence to hand over my passport to an agency I had never worked with before to help garner my Chinese Visa. Sent my passport back in February, every other passport services I used didn't ask for my passport only a picture of it, but these guys had good reviews and promised to get my visa quickly. The package was delivered, USPS said, but they don't have my passport and cant find it anywhere. It has been 6 months of me trying to get my new one and I have had to reschedule my flights 3 times and it is getting more and more expensive. Would never use, wish I never sent them my passport. Horrible. read more

Swift saved our European vacation! Our 10 year-old daughter needed a new passport and we didn't have a lot of time. They were able to get her new passport to us in under 24 hours. Great service and communication. Laurie was so helpful and patient. We couldn't recommend them anymore highly. Laurie calmly answered all of my nervous questioning leading up to the new passport being issued and made the entire process so smooth from beginning to end. Our trip has been two years in the making so she truly made our dream come true by saving the day! Thank you Laurie and the Swift team!!! read more

Should you find yourself in the bad position of needing a passport right away, this is the place to go! I lost my passport 2 weeks before needing to leave the country and I panicked. Swift Passport and Visa Services (located at 1 E. Erie Street, Suite 525 in Chicago is wonderful, very responsive and knowledgeable. I got my money's worth, not to mention my passport! I couldn't get an appointment at the Passport Office in Chicago (they wanted me to go to Denver the day before my trip!) so I called an agency that does passport expediting and which charged a lot more than Swift. I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau, and they were not listed. However, I noticed that Swift Passport and Visa was, and it was rated A+. I can see why. When I was there filling out documents, I noticed that the people who were walking in seemed to be very happy also. Everyone on staff was very helpful. They only like emails but respond quickly. I highly recommend this place if you are in need of emergency expediting! read more

Whelp, if you're looking to pay a decent amount of money and not receive a product or service in return this is the place to go to. Not only did they send me on a wild goose chase for no purpose ( U.S. Passport services informed me that the forms swift had me submit were incorrect), they have also not refunded my money after claiming they would. And we're not talking about a small amount of money. When I called to inquire about the refund, I was told it was an issue with my bank ( J.P. Morgan ) and there was nothing they could do. It baffles me that I paid money and received nothing in return, at the core of it- isn't that a scam? Seriously, these people will lead you astray. There are better firms available to help. read more

We reached out to the Swift team 7 days prior to an international travel to China and employee, Jennifer LeBlanc was able to answer our questions (of which we hand many!) and get all documentation submitted within 12 hours of beginning the process. She then went a step further and provided daily updates. She made the process seamless, and we are very grateful to her and the broader Swift team. Swift Passport Services lives up their name! Their service is was super fast and the employees were cordial, professional and I was in and out the door right away! They have a list of services online but it's around 250 to renew a passport in 2 weeks. They are located on the 5th Floor of 1 Erie (right off the Elevator) and there is street parking as well as 15 minute loading zones near the building (there are a bunch of confusing City of Chicago parking signs so make sure you can park before you do!) Metered parking was 4/hr. Thank you so much for helping me with my last minute passport issue! read more

Like an idiot I booked a trip to Cancun with some friends when my passport had expired. I realized I had 13 days till my flight and could not risk going to the post office. So I did my research and called these guys. I had a few "blond" moments and they worked with me to let me know what I needed before I came in to renew my passport. I came on Thursday morning 8/8 and they called me end of day on Friday to let me know to pick up my passport on Monday. The service was quite good...Turns out I spent a year in Costa Rica back in 05 when 2 of the employees were living there. If you ever find yourself in a JAM. I think they can take care of you even 6 days before the flight leaves. They answered VISA questions that I had about other countries. Awesome.. Thank you read more

I had extraordinary service from the folks at Swift, and am writing this despite the fact that I "generally" don't post reviews since one can't always trust the information offered. In this case, I hope you will trust it enough to TRY their services. If you do, you'll be the one writing a positive review. My wife and I are retired, and travel essentially full time. We have a constant need for fast and accurate Visa processing simply because we can't be without our passports for more than a few weeks at a time. On this occasion, we needed a Bolivian tourist Visa and only had two or three weeks to get it before our next journey began. We called a Visa expediter we'd used before and they told us to fill out their web application and they'd get back to us. NOT an acceptable answer. We contacted a Visa expediter our travel agent recommended and we literally left 4 phone calls - and detailed voice messages with them. Never did we hear back. I'm pretty sure the TOS prevents me from naming them, but I surely WISH I could. Nevertheless, we were beginning to see the end of our rope until we made contact with Shannon at Swift. From the first phone call she instilled confidence in her knowledge of the particular system the Bolivian consulate used, to the specifics of how they'd review various aspects of our application. We got our passports with Visa back in less time than she'd predicted with no muss, no fuss and in plenty of time. We look forward to being able to do business with entrepreneurs like Swift who understand service, provide it and deliver on their promises. Good luck in your travels, and I hope you have as fine an experience as we did. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company! The entire process was very smooth and my passport arrived exactly when they said it would. I was really nervous using some 'random' company and called a couple of times to ask questions/check my status. Everyone I talked to was extremely friendly and reassuring. They empathized with my stressful situation and never made me feel dumb or like I was annoying them by calling. Getting an expedited passport + using a third party company is never going to be cheap but Swift's prices were very competitive and the professionalism and customer service would make me a repeat customer (though fingers crossed I never have a need again! Lol). read more

Swift's service was absolutely spectacular! They are professional, prompt, accurate and communicative. Great experience!

Was so impressed with the service, care and attention Swift Passport, just wanted to write a glowing review for them, here on YELP. Before I began to write, I read so many glowing reviews. As far back as 2011 people were writing the praises for Swift Passport.., you know something...., out of all the reviews only 1 (one) was a poor review Amazing. Can't think of any other thing to say.... Swift, and specifically Laurie, were EXTREMELY helpful as we navigated the process of getting me a new visa as well as a document authentication. During these difficult times, things are as opaque as the ever in terms of obtaining the right documentation to move the process forward. Maybe the best service I've ever had from any business! Found out last minute (in terms of traveling) that I was being sent to Brazil for work. I needed a visa as quickly as possible. I'm in Milwaukee, so I FedExed all my documents to SPS. They called me the next day, gave me a quote of about a week to get it done, and took my payment info, all while being very friendly and professional. I got it back in two days. TWO DAYS! I would recommend them to everyone! read more

BEYOND AMAZED with Swift! We dropped by Monday afternoon at 3pm with all our paperwork and did the regular service to get the Passport done. Just paid the normal fee knowing that it'll be done in approximately 7-10 business days, which was great since my girlfriend would need the Passport then. But it turns out that it was completed on Wednesday afternoon. It was shipped out 1-day expedited and got it on Thursday! They were of great help getting us going. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs their Passports taken care of swiftly! :) read more

LIFESAVERS. There should be 6 stars because Laurie and her team deserve more than 5. SPS makes the whole visa process so simple and worry-free. A million times better than CIBT, which is what others in my office use (I'm trying to convert them!). GO HERE IF YOU NEED A VISA! read more

Super nice, quick, helpful. Cute office. Street parking is good. They answer their phone or call you back. I can't say the employees kept me totally confident in them (sounded like small-town bubs on the phone), but when I pushed them for details they reassured me there are never problems (with business visas to China; with FedEx delivery w/i Chicago) They sent me FedEx tracking #, e-rcpt ,etc. I appreciate the techsavvyness. I'm going to Brazil in a week. Just under a week ago, I had a passport that didn't have a Brazilian visa in it. I googled around for my options and didn't find a cheaper or clearer option than SPS, so I gave them a call. Laurie was super helpful - I explained my situation (I'm disorganized and a poor grad student) and we worked through how I'd have to ship and what expedited service would work best. She put in a conditional order depending on how the shipping worked out, and it turned out that the 7 business day service would meet my timeline needs and give me a day to spare. I've got a Brazilian visa in my passport, and I have a week of not needing to worry about it, a week I don't deserve. read more
