I had heard through some community social media that they were serving some basic cooked items like hamburgers, fries, tacos, kids meals, etc. I had stopped next door at the little postal shop and figured I would grab a quick bite. The kitchen is small and behind a counter where you order and pay. There is no price list of any kind. There is a TV screen which has images telling what the serve but no prices. There was a small printed menu but no prices. I figured I would just get a chicken taco. I asked the girl how much, her grasp of English was very poor. I finally asked cuánto cuesta? $4.78 she replied. So I ordered it, I handed here a $5 bill. That 's when I noticed she had on the black latex gloves a lot of cooks wear, they were greasy from touching the food. She proceeded to give me change from my $5 and the coins were all greasy! She touched the cash register several times to do the transaction so I assume the register now had greasy keys and what germs might have been there were now on the gloves. She then went back to make my taco without changing her gloves. This is what I hate about cooks wearing gloves, it is a false sense of hygiene. It's also watched to a Washateria and Smoke Shop. The Washateria is basically "all digital" from the standpoint that you can put money (cash or debit/credit card) onto a digital card. The card does cost $1 for the first time you get it. You can use Cash to upload onto the digital card. The bathroom typically doesn't have soap to wash your hands and there's only one bathroom in the facility. I never was able to get the Wi-Fi password to work but I think the gas station attendant next-door might have access. Over the last several months in going there to wash sheets or blankets and larger items, there's typically a washing machine and or dryer that is out of service . The wash machines range from $2.50 per load to $4.50 to $6.50 to $8.50 depending on the size. The dryers are powerful and very large and about $1 or $1.25 per cycle. This is right next to a 24 hour convenience store so if you need a snack, it's a good place. Also, there's a pretty decent Taqueria in the Shell gas station parking lot.

Friendly employees, well stocked store and always clean. Highly recommend this store.read more
