It is a few months later now (I wanted to wait a few months before posting a review to see if any issues cropped up) and I am even more pleased with our choice in contractors!!! Thanks and WOOT WOOT go out to Jen, Rick, and the other contractors that Rick collaborates with . I do not recommend J&S Construction…read more Our experience involved repeated promises that someone would show up to do the work, followed by repeated no-shows and another excuse each time. We gave them several opportunities to follow through, but the same pattern continued. At some point, words no longer mean much when the actions do not match. We tried to be patient and understanding, but reliability and communication are a major part of hiring a contractor, and unfortunately that was not our experience. We ultimately lost confidence in J&S Construction and ended the business relationship. If you are considering hiring them, I would strongly recommend being cautious and making sure everything is clearly documented in writing.
