This has to be the weirdest shaped sweet shop I've ever come across. Rather than a store, it looks more like a long corridor, or a show room, and from the outside, it's quite difficult to work out where exactly the entrance is!
To begin with, I thought the shop was closed, but after peering into the elongated window, I saw customers inside. But I still couldn't find the door in! Next to the bewildering, hidden Sweetz entrance, there's a betting shop, which is quite out of place, considering how unusual the sweet store looks. However, at least I finally found the way in, squashed between William Hill and Argos. Hurray!
With mission impossible completed, I could finally explore the most peculiar sweet shop that I've ever encountered. There is literally only room for two people to walk down the narrow shop, so once too many people have entered, you're likely to get stuck down the one end!
The store sells a wide range of sweets in jars, most costing £1.70 for 100g (a little pricey I think), but there's also freshly made candy floss and syrups sold inside too. The syrups are funny, it's like buying a shot of alcohol, but instead, it's a shot of gooey flavoured sugar for kids. read more
