The driver, an older white man, was extremely rude, entitled, and unkind. I did not feel comfortable during the entire ride. He scolded me for not having cash to pay, and I told him, "I understand that people can have stressful days, but you could at least be kind to others, especially when you are providing a service." In response, he became even more humiliating and drove away speaking in French. What makes this even worse is that when I called the company at (914) 723-0016 to report the incident, the person who answered dismissed my concerns and said, "He's just an old nasty grumpy man. What do you want me to do? There's nothing to feel unsafe about." That response is completely unacceptable. Customers are paying for a service and deserve to be treated with basic respect and professionalism.
